Does Pylox look underweight?
I'm handling him right now, but here are some pics.
https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...bd3b408710.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...018c27908d.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...e0d16ba5c7.jpgAs you can see, his spine is kind of prominent, also his skin is kind of loose, I can kinda gently pinch his skin, and I can really pinch it near his neck. HELP!

He looks like a good size to me.
Upcoming shed can cause loose skin too.

If he's a good feeder maybe offer him an extra mouse next time or a bigger one ?!

The thing is, he just shed exactly a week ago, and in the two times he's shed, he has done it on routine, every month.

Is it possible for them to eat 2 mice at the same time? Not being rude, genuinely asking

It’s hard for me to tell how large he is just by looking at the pictures but it seems like mice are going to be way too small for him anyways. Instead of going with multiple mice, try switching over to rats. It looks like he could handle at least a rat pup maybe even a weaned or small rat.
Regardless he doesn’t look underweight but if he has loose skin and the spine is showing, it wouldn’t hurt to up the size.

As you say we don't know exactly how big the snake is ... that said the wooden hide in the viv looks to be one of those pretty small ones ( not ideal anyway as the two openings offer very little security ) - suggesting that it's a youngster/ small Royal .. all that said - it could be an unusually huge wooden hide [emoji4]
From what I've heard recently there's virtually no difference in nutrition between mice / rats just more convenient to feed one rat than a couple of mice for the bigger snakes ..
PS - presuming there's another hide on the other side of the tank ;)

I am going on a guess but I am going to say 18 inches long or roughly 20 centimeters long. You should really get a scale to weigh you snake, It is nearly impossible to guage weight by sight without ever weighing it to get a baseline.
You snake is shedding and eating so it is not starving or overly skinny or it most likely would not be shedding that much. Visually it does not look thin at all and I personally would not over feed a snake for any reason. There is no benefit from having an overweight snake.
If you want peace of mind, get a scale and weigh your snake then feed according to weight.

Nope. Snake looks perfectly normal weight.

Re: Does Pylox look underweight?
To everyone here that replied, thanks! Now I feel like I should give some basic info:
1. Length: ~75 cm or ~2'6"
2. Age: Unknown.
3. Weight: Haven't gotten to weighing him.
4. Enclosure: Two "hides", a coconut shell and the half log.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...1056e985ca.jpg
5. Humidity: 60%-63%, spike up to 69%-72% during shed.
6. Feeder availability: Where you guys live, it might be more convenient to get rats than mice, but where I live, the only rats we know are either pet rats, or sewer rats, no feeder rats. The main stuff is mice, but the mice here are pretty big, the common ones can get up to 300g.

Yeah , the more information the better and photos are worth a thousand words (?apparently lol ) ..
Well I'd deffo cover the back and sides as I mentioned before to give some security to him . I'd get two better ( and bigger maybe ) hides unless that's a gigantic coconut shell there no way he can fit in there ( ( is there ?) .... Those Exo-Terra hides ( image below) are very popular and look great as well ..I'd also add a few branches and loads of fake plant foliage ( from a dollar shop) as well - to give extra security it all helps as there's a lot of open space in there at the moment.

Ideally need all the info on the setup now - including the size of heat mat , where its situated , is it regulated by a thermostat . What kind of thermometer are you using to gauge temps ??
As much info as possible really ...
As regards the mice , he will be fine on mice if that's all you can get , in my neck of the woods rats cost about 7 times what mice cost ( comparing same weights ) so I also use mice for my Royals.. if they're obviously still hungry after one they are offered a second ) . I'm guessing you meant 30g mice incidentally ?

He can snugly fit in the coconut shell with some room to spare, so don't worry :) Also I'm waiting on a shipment of 2 exoterra hides, one for my BP and one for my dad's. The heat pad I have is half the length of the tank and half the width, I put it flush to one side of the tank.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...ead40f4aa4.jpg(Pic from old enclosure). It's not regulated as my heatpad has a temp dial on it, and I measure the temps with a tempgun every week or so. The temps are 32°C on the hot side, 27-29°C on the cool side, ambient is around 30°C.

Sounding better ... just the other things I mentioned to possibly consider ... Nice to see you have a temp gun :) They're fabulous gadgets , I wish everyone used them .

Incidentally if you're using aspen ... have you considered switching substrate to orchid bark or similar ? It looks far more natural , it will enhance the colours of your beautiful Royal and it is fabulous for managing humidity . Aspen is basically the polar opposite and it also gets all over the house and carpets which annoys the wife intensely !
