    lesser or lesser pastel?
Is this a lesser or lesser pastel? How to tell a bright lesser from a pastel lesser? The eyes?

It could be fire lesser? It is about 500 grams, from fire spider pastel lesser het banded x lesser her banded

Can you elaborate how to tell? Is it just lesser, or fire lesser?

Pastel brings out high yellows and a lot of blushing in the pattern. Pastels also typically have green eyes.

looks like it is just a nice Lesser to me.

I would expect,(not always but usually) a more blushed head and sharper yellows in a pastel. As well as green eyes (again not always). Fire lesser I would look at the head stamp and how well she's aged. I personally think she is just a excellent example of a lesser but that's just my opinion

Any photos of a fire lesser of roughly the same size, as well as description how to tell?

Also, you all think that my snake is plain lesser, right? No fire and no pastel?

Ok so yes, we think yours is just lesser. The easiest indicator is how dark your snakes head is. Pastel makes the head blush quite a bit and is quite easy to notice, example:https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...eb39d9b23b.jpg

Now fire is a little harder to see but imo it basically just lightens the whole snake but this is also easiest to see in the head. Some people consider it a head stamp and I’ve seen ones that do look like a head stamp but some just look faded or lighter then they would be if they didn’t have fire. I don’t have a lesser fire but here is my nuclear enchi which is pretty close, basically just enchi added. You can see how the fire lightened the coloring of the head and made the entire snake lighter. The coloring is off because it has enchi but you can still see what the fire does.

Only you see your snake in different lighting, etc.

From YOUR pictures, I would say, "just" a Lesser (its a gorgeous snake, btw)

But sometimes pictures can be deceiving with different light, etc.

Check out this video, you see the snake in good light, moving, etc. This is a Lesser Fire. Try to make some Daylight pictures, or anything with a bright white light.
