ha, thanks jo. i still think i look younger than i really am (27), but then, the server didn't ask for my id last night when i ordered an appletini to go with my birthday dinner so i could be wrong. :P

ha, no my hubby took me to carrabba's. yum! an appletini is vodka, sour apple schnapps and midori garnished with a slice of sour green apple. some people don't use the midori or put lemon or lime juice in in place of it, but that is waaay not as good. :P

Haven't a clue what's in it other than it tastes like fresh peaches. So darned good you don't even know you've got drunk till it's too late (the perfect date drink apparently) LOL.

Oh dear lord, I still can't hear the name of that drink without remembering my first trip to see the "BIG SIS" at college at the ripe ole age of sixteen...needless to say my lightweight sibling who was getting toasted on wine coolers gets me in a bar with an ID that is OBVIOUSLY not mine (I hope a bouncer never lets MY daughter in a bar with a flimsy bat of the eyelashes). She then lets me in on the BEST DRINK OF ALL TIME...I still can't get over my sister showing me how to best execute a "quad yell" at 2:30 AM...

This would be one of the very few times in my life when I felt the need to stay sober to babysit my reliable sis, don't worry, I made her take her turn babysitting many times later!! ;) :D

BTW - I LOVE YOU SIS!!!!!

lol, jo those are good. there are a few drinks that i enjoy quite a bit that i can't even whisper here...unless i want to get a severe beat down from the other mods. :P

I was going to tell you how much I love that drink, but obviously SOMEONE already beat me to it. Bad sister, bad bad sister!!! :bonk: At least I don't think she knows the fishbowl story. (I HOPE!!) Those are pretty good too. Think actual fishbowls filled with liquor and big straws! (And floating alligators) But that was spring break so alls good. :P

Years ago, back in my single days, we used to hit a roadhouse/bar in Toronto, Ontario that made the most amazing blender drinks. One was a chocolate monkey. Some sort of wonderous concotion with hard liquor, chocolate liquere (sp), god knows what, all poured in blender with milk, ice, fresh strawberries. Tasted like the best chocolate milkshake in the world!

Most dangerous chocolate milkshake in the world! LOL Never, never drink a number of double chocolate monkeys then attempt to ride an escalator down!

My redneck brothers and sisters all make slush in the summer. Anyone ever had slush? Amazing stuff! Just like a snow cone type thing but for the grown-ups LOL. Very dangerous for someone like Christy or me who doesn't drink much let me tell ya. One unfortunate side effect of slush seems to be the need for every male to toss every female in the nearby lake (or maybe that's just my freakishly wierd family).
