Cinnamon Icebreaker mints, I'm addicted..... At one point I was buying a new pack every week or two >.>;. Trying not to give in lately, which is hard bc they're right by my area at work lol.

I think the poll that needs to be done is a who is Ax poll. I have interacted with Ax on almost a daily basis since I have been on the board and I know absolutely nothing about Ax other than the snakes in the collection. Maybe that is the way it should be on the board. I don't know. The profile reads in a hilarious manner and in ways seems to contradict itself which I am sure is on purpose and for humor. A rock guitar playing secretary that like cartoons for little girls and buying very expensive snakes? Come on Ax curiosity is killing the cat.
In any case, it is great having Ax around. Never a dull moment when Ax is online.

So what's your guitar rig look like Ax? I'm currently running a strat, a les paul, and a charvel through a marshal. The only effects I am using are a boss chorus and a cry baby. Doing acoustic stuff with a Taylor.
-
Re: What's your favorite cinnamon?
I'm a fan of the super cinnamon....
.....I also play by the way. I'm running a 1980 Gibson SG Standard, a Custom Shop 1962 Strat, into a Marshall JCM-800 2205 (the best sounding amp I've ever had the privilege of plugging into so far).
Speaking of a Boss Chorus.....I am still looking for a Boss CE-1......just don't want to spend that kind of cash on a pedal lmao.
-
Gotta get me some Cinnabons hun!
(how was cinnamon roll not an option?)
:P

Boss pedals are worth the money in my opinion. I bought my first boss chorus about 30 years ago I think. Had it forever until it disappeared in a move. I'm really partial to marshalls myself for about 90% of the stuff i do. Sometimes I miss my fender twin though. Best clean amp I ever played. Eventually I will break down and get another one.
-
Re: What's your favorite cinnamon?
The problem is that a Boss CE-1 is the HOLY GRAIL of all chorus pedals and they run anywhere from $500-$700....the most expensive pedal that I know of personally. Japanese made. VERY VERY rare. If you had this pedal back in the day you'll be kicking yourself for losing it....
They cost this much for a reason: It's the EXACT pedal used on such songs like:
(intro) Nothing Else Matters by Metallica
(intro) Soul to Squeeze by the Red Hot Chili Peppers
(outro) Under the Bridge by the Red Hot Chili Peppers
If you see one, don't hesitate. Just buy it.
Otherwise, I have a love/hate relationship with Boss nowdays, some stuff is GREAT (love their loop pedals) and other pedals....are....well, not for me lol.
Fender cleans are BEAUTIFUL by the way....I agree.

I still have the documents for it somewhere. I'm going to have to look. Hopefully I don't end up kicking myself. My newer one doesn't sound too bad for what I do with it. I never had much use for a lot of effects. A good guitar and a good amp will gets me where I want to be. Some guys flip switches, I switch guitars.

Cinnamon rolls...
And yeah, Ax is a mysterious entity who I remember joining the forum around when I joined? But I have no idea who they are? How old are you? Where are you from? What is your personality like? It's all a mystery. All I know is Ax makes funny threads. LOL

I probably explained it poorly .... They can't strike "upwards" was maybe a more accurate version of what was suggested - also presumed it referred to the snake type in the clip maybe not all snakes !?!?
Cobras ???

Yeah I've heard that myth quite a bit.
A cobra wants to warn you off so it raises itself up (usually near eye level if it can) and flares the hood. If it is going to strike, it'll *want* to strike out in front of itself.
However, they can tilt and strike up. They may end up falling over because of they way they position, flatten out and raise up, but yes, they can strike up. (they also don't have to be raised up and flared out to strike)
Here's an interesting thread where someone else had the same question if you want more feedback from others:

Haha I was 99% joking in a serious way :D But interesting! Now I know more about you and your age. Yeah, I remember your commenting on my Cake threads.
I sort of feel that way about Zincubus too, now that you mention it. He's just a green rose from the UK to me. LOL

Wow
A green rose from the uk ?!?!
Hoping that's a nice thing but I fear it may not be ...

Well if we are talking about snakes (ball pythons) my favorite cinnamon is a Butter Fire Yellowbelly Cinnamon.
https://ball-pythons.net/forums/cach...er_fire_yb.JPG
And probably the best gene that combines with cinnamon is Lesser (otherwise known as Butter).

Yikes. Cinnamon going down is lovely, cinnamon coming back up is like acid-laced shards of glass on fire. I hope that morning was gentle to you.
