    I feel bad!
My poor Booplesnoop. I put her rats on top of her cage to thaw out. Which I have never done before. I hear a noise, and I thought a cat was on her cage. Not a usual thing but I needed to check and boop is out and she tried to strike and take the rat on top of her cage. I feel so bad! What if she hurt her face? I'm such a bad mommy! No more rats on top,of her cage. And they are still in the zip locks too! She is a smart one. So now she is looking and waiting. Poor boople!

I thaw my guys rats on the top of their tanks, it gets them real ready to go lol. The last feeding Azura was at the top of the tank just waiting for me to open it. Boople was just super ready! XD Don't worry she'll be okay, I think she might have struck at the top because she was used to being able to get the food when it's that close whereas mine know that if the lid is on the food isn't ready yet [emoji14]

She has always been an awesome eater. No problems. Usually her rats are in there already after she is weighed. So this was totally new to her. Now she is all butt hurt and back in her hide pouting.

So funny. I'm sure she's fine. I mostly laugh at my snakes' food fails because I'm the mean snake parent (also because they can't hear me).

Well I took her out and she was pissed and hissed at me. Lol. Weighed her and she is at 440g. Put her back in and she took a rat pup laxidazical. Just went in to give her the other and she took it so fast she ripped it off the tongs and scared the crap out of me lol. Next week she moves up to small rats. And the rat will magically appear for her again without tongs while she is out.

Awh, poor little beep! She sounds like a good eater though!

I'm sure she's alright! But do keep your eye on her, if she starts acting funny or if her snoot starts to look off or injured take her to the vet. I really think she's fine though!

I recently watched a documentary discussing snake evolution, and how their skulls are adapted for extreme G-force since they strike with such ridiculous acceleration that their brains get banged around!

Snakes are evolved to whip their heads into targets without sustaining injury, so though I wouldn't want my snakes to bash their heads into screens or glass walls regularly, once in awhile won't do much harm.

Mind if I ask what documentary?? I LOVE animal documentaries and have ever since I was a little kid. Thanks for the new info also! I didn't actually know that
