My Cornsnake is such a fail
Behold the mighty hunter! She missed her f/t mouse out of excitement, struck herself and then became determined to win against herself. After a few minutes she finally figured it out and was unharmed.

My sub adult sunglow boa did that not too long ago... I had to let her constrict herself for a while. Was mostly worried about her getting a tooth stuck in herself but all seemed fine and she was glad to finally get her rat.
    Silly snakes! Stop biting yourself!
Great that you got it on video, thanks for sharing.

She really did kick it up a notch when she 'death rolled' herself out of frame. :)

I was worried about a broken tooth as well, but I couldn't find a mark on her. Proof that scalessless snakes are not delicate snakes!

Is she an albino by any chance ??

Most of my albinos are as blind as bats !!

I know there's some scientific basis to that theory ...

My Cornsnake is such a fail
My husband’s caramel tessera flailed herself right out of her enclosure two weeks in a row. Fortunately, both times she was so busy killing her f/t feeder I was able to scoop her up and get her back in. Now I only open the door just enough to get the tongs in and get the prey away from the opening!
