Update...

So, the new babies finally have names !! ;)

I decided to stick with the Space/Universe theme. Since they are my "stars" ;)


The Lemonblast Enchi Desert Ghost girl I called "Aurora". After the Aurora borealis and australis (northern and southern lights. They are the bright lights that form from the release of energy into light. The same way neon light is formed. Found that quite fitting for this girl :)

The Pastel Butter Enchi Desert Ghost boy I named "Sirius". It is the brightest Star in the night sky and also means "glowing". That, too, seems befitting to him..

The Pastel Enchi Desert Ghost girl I decided to call "Venus" She is a classic BEAUTY, no explanation needed ;)

They all have taken frozen thawed rats at this point (were on live prior to getting them). Aurora has just shed and Venus is going into shed. Sirius is quite the shy boy, but he is eating just fine! I'm still allowing them to get used to their new home and keep handling to a minimum (only for needed maintenance) for now. But soon there will be a TON new pictures of my new babies :)

Their beautiful and LOVE the names [emoji14] They fit them really well. Aurora is actually on my list of names I wanna use when I find the right animal that fits it. It fits your beautiful girl for sure! Lol I can't wait to see more of them

Thank you all for your nice comments :) It has never taken me so long to find names, haha. But I wanted something that would "go" with their looks and since I'm fascinated with Space, the Universe and everything to do with it, why not make that a "theme" :)

I'm considering re-naming Arjana (Pastel Desert Ghost) as well. Not sure though, got used to her name, but really like to have a "theme" for the Desert Ghosts..

Hm..I could call them my "Space Balls" ...:rofl:

OMG Sirius. That is just insane looking! BTW Sirius is also the dog star so maybe it will become dog tame?

He already is, LOL.

Can't wait to be able to handle them more. But they lived for just over a year at their breeders place, so I want to give them a good long while to settle into their new home and a few meals before I take them out for good pictures and some handling. ;)

Sirius is soooo awesome! Every time I see him, I like him more and more. I'm thinking the addition of enchi is making a big difference because I've been looking into finding a butter or lesser desert ghost and I have not found any that come close to that cool washed out fade look he has even the ones with pastel in the mix. I'm yet to see another pastel/lesser/enchi desert ghost though so I'll have to be patient I guess. Really nice pick up!

I've noticed the same thing. That the "Enchi" seems to take any combo to another level ! That's why I was thrilled that all 3 of them carry it.

Now I just want to add "leopard" to my mix (Pastel Leopard Desert Ghost girl) and I'll be happy. For a while, anyway, LOL. Seems like most of the cool Desert Ghost combos can be found in Europe. I would even import one, but no-one seems to be selling one currently..

Be patient, I'll have some cool desert ghost stuff(leopard) for you next year and the year or two after that I should have some really cool worlds firsts 😬 Maybe you'll make some stuff I don't have and we can just trade ;)

Lol, sounds good! Just make me a mini Sirius and I'll be happy, just need to fight the urge to get any lesser/enchi DG stuff so I can wait and see what you make :P
