    Punkin when we got her
If anyone's interested I finally got around to uploading the two pictures we originally got through email of Punkin back in July when we first got her into my gallery.

We were able to help her previous owners get that stuck shed off her before we picked her up. She is obviously a bit underweight and small for her age but she's done wonderfully well in the relatively short time we've had her.

Now to get a cam and get recent shots of Baby and Punkin! LOL

I'd like to see. You can't get a digital camera huh. Ya know there is a disposable digital camera.

I love Punkin's pattern Jo! And of course Finn is just lovely too. ;) Poor little thing looked a little thin and sad with that retained shed, but I'm sure she looks much better now. Thanks for the pics! :D

Thanks hon, we love her looks too. That retained shed came off okay and her first shed with us was unassisted and complete. I'm waiting today for the second shed to occur. Our only remaining concern is a very, very slight dimple in one of her eyes but it doesn't seem to impair her vision on that side or can even be seen except when you turn her a certain way in the light.

I really really need a cam LOL. We've only had Punky since July 15th and she's growing so darn fast and oddly enough changing color to this greenish hue (very evident when you see her and Baby together as Baby is a more black and yellow/gold color). Punky's last measurement prior to shed was a nice 30" long, probably small for age but a big jump for her in a short time. Her girth is appropriate and she feels wonderful to the touch!

Yep Punky was a bit of a sad thing but you wouldn't know it today when she slithers off to explore some new interesting thing and snarfs down her nummy meeses. Sorry to go on and on about her but she's kinda my special one (don't tell Baby or Finn tho!).

Poor little baby. I'm glad you have her now. She's a cutie and I know she must be even more beautiful now. Can't wait to hear how she looks after her shed. =)

Thanks Khara. I just peeked in on Punky and the shed is happening right this moment! Darned I'm excited. I needed something wonderful after finding out this morning that Punkin is almost 6 months older than we thought so another 6 months behind on a normal life she darned well deserved!

Sorry folks, I'd never felt mad about Punkin's life before she came to us but for some reason finding out today that she's older than we were first told has just struck a the wrong cord in me for some reason.

Yay! *Sending humid shed vibes Punkin's way* I can understand why it would make you mad. I know I'd be upset too. She's in good hands though.

Now that's one sexy lady! ;)

She's gorgeous! (even with the retained shed). I love how that one back spot goes in with her side!

I also just *LOVE* how you keep teasing us with descriptions of how nice she's looking now as well as Baby, yet you have no physical proof (ie pictures) of said beauty. :neener:

(Shhhhh, don't tell Jo everyone, but maybe if I question her snakes' beauty, she'll run out and get a disposable digital and start clicking pictures to share with us! :P )

Just remember to keep it a secret so that she gets indignant enough to go buy that camera! ;)

And I'm not worried about her finding me, she *claims* she doesn't want to spend the money on a camera right now, so I KNOW she doesn't want to pay for a plane ticket and $6 a gallon gas in Atanta! :omfg:

    GOTCHA! ;)

Our gas just jumped up to $3 a gal! *drops over in a dead faint* With all the damage from the hurricane (which fortunately we made out ok - 2 hurricanes, 1 tornado, and 1 earthquake since we moved here 9 months ago, if there's a plague I'm outta here!)

HA! I'm saw that Robin LOL Actually I've been crazy busy plus the house water pump thingie-ma-jig (sorry for the highly technical talk) just went wonky and I've got extra daycare kids for the next few days (bit of an overlap between the new kids starting and the old kids finishing up).

So folks if you don't see me around as much till Wednesday of next week I have my own 4 year old, another 4 year old, a 6 year old, a 1 year old and a 1 month old from the hours of noon till 5 every day. Yes thank you I am quite crazy! If Mike doesn't bring take out home for dinner tonight.....I may be a widow by morning LOL

It will get back next week when the 4 year old and his little 1 year old brother go to their new sitter (they moved to the next town over). We'll miss them a lot tho but I've a newborn to cuddle and snoogle!!!!

On the upside, the pump was just a faulty switch so we've got water again and I'm making the cash for that dang camera LOL. On the downside, the part for the car didn't arrive so I can't drive to WalMart to buy it! Oh well....life....someone pass me a cup of tea please.....

Oh and as of last night I think gas here in Boyne City, MI was $3.65 a gallon. Kinda makes me happy the car's on the fritz and we can't drive it much till the new manifold and wiring gets done next week.

Did I see someone say gas was $6.00 a gallon in their community?

That's funny! I have those days, and without the additional kids. (Hun, you better bring something home - I don't care what it is but I better not have to do a thing with it, except eat it!)

Hope you get back to "normal" soon! Good luck with all those kiddos. It's all about naptime!!! ;)

Punkin's lovely. Beautiful colours even with the shed still on. With your TLC she'll come on in leaps and bounds:D Bobby our rescue's gone into shed so I've whacked up the humidity, put the humid hide in and keeping my fingers crossed.
