New Snake Day - Rio Bravo Pokigron Suriname
Just picked up this little guy. I'm really happy with him. Just snapped a couple pics with my phone to show him off before I put him away to settle in. He is only a month old so is still pretty grey. The pics def don't do him justice.

Spectacular, how big will that snake get? I'm interested in Boas, but they tend to get really huge.

    cletus
I don't think he will get too big Godzilla. His parents weren't huge and he will be fed responsibly. Males are smaller as well. I don't think he will get much over 7 feet or so. You never know though.

Nice looking snake. Curious who you picked him up from if you dont mind me asking. I know Chris Wolf and Vin Russo are 2 of the big hitters for Pure Rio bravo Pokis as they both got their stock straight from Gus Rentfro before he 'quit'. Gina is from Chris Wolf and I'm more or less waiting for his next litter to probably pick up a male for her.

Thanks Sauzo, I got him from HK Constrictors. Eric Rollins is the breeder.

Ah ok. Yeah I guess he got his from Chris Wolf also a few years back.

I don't know. I'm really happy with the snake regardless.

Yeah he got his from Chris Wolf as well. Grats. The ones from Chris Wolf are really laid back. Gina is a little lounger unless she thinks its food time haha. Last night as i walked by the cages, i heard a little 'thunk'. I turned to see Gina coiled up at the front of the cage haha. I guess she struck the glass thinking it was feeding time. After no food, she laid down clearly disappointed.

Yeah my other boa is really relaxed until she smells food. She goes nuts when I'm feeding the other snakes if it's not her day to feed.

Couple newer pics of Creeper. He is def a slow grower but very healthy. I couldn't be happier with him. Not the best light in my room but its freezing outside.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...97d983c393.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...c222393ae1.jpg

He looks so much smaller than he really is. He is right at 2 feet now. He has almost doubled in size since I got him. 15 months old now.

That is the most beautiful Boa I've ever seen :)

I've always loved a beautiful Suriname, esp. if it had perfect peaks. Yours has absolutely perfect ones, every single one. Gorgeous color.
If they didn't get so big, that is the Boa I would have wanted in my collection.

Absolutely gorgeous animal, you should be very proud :)

Creeper is finally getting some size on him. He is just over 2 years now. He is still very mellow unless he smells food. He will be going into his AP cage soon.

Updated picture of Creeper. Starting to get some real size! Such a slow grower but so worth it. Couldn't be happier with his progress. He just started on small rats (on the smaller side) last week. The light in the room doesn't do his colors justice but you get the idea.
