Ragnarok is so tame and adventurous, he loves coming out quite frequently. I opened his rack to feed him and of course, he climbed out immediately! I got the thawed out medium rat very warm under an infrared heat lamp, then pulled the puppet strings a bit, and he decided to eat it before he got completely out of the rack.

He looks like such a sweetheart! Ragnorok is a really cool name for him! I'm super curious how much he weighs and how old is he?

I never weighed him. He is 2 years old, and he is about 4.5 feet long.

    Ragnarok in glass display tank.
My only Ball that loves to come out of his enclosure and explore frequently. He sometimes even resists when I put him back. It doesn't matter if I keep him with the other snakes in the rack, or if I put in a big cage. He just loves to roam around the house sometimes.

Flame the juvenile female piebald is also beginning to get quite tame, she is no longer scared of me, and wants to come out of her tub and explore sometimes. The other 3 just want to hide like pet rocks.:sleep::sleep:https://ball-pythons.net/forums/cach...b/IMG_0858.jpg

Take a guess? Hint: see the hole drilled at the top?

Terracotta pots make the best hides !!!

They come in all shapes and sizes, they hold water (for humidity) are easy to clean, look natural :) Some people only use the hole on top as an entrance, I used to CAREFULLY knock a piece off of the edge, and then use a dremel or sand paper to smooth out the edges. On the top I put fake plants.

They were my (and my snakes) favorite hides when I had display cages !
