    Banana Ball question....
I'm looking into getting a Banana Ball, and I was wondering do they typically have some black spots in their pattern? Saw one thats going for a little over 200$ and wanted to know whats a decent price for a Banana?

Yes, as they age they develop spots. Some more than others.

They start to develop speckle around 125/150 grams, amount of speckling is random and some will have more spots than others.

They start at $130 on Morphmarket. If the breeder is a famous Youtuber, then it probably will be over $200 for a banana morph.

Yea I see the banana on there that's in Hollywood, Fl...idk why this one is 350$ at a store....said they're marking him down 40% in the next week or so....still 220$ and about 6-7 months old...

Yeah, I've seen Banana BP for $350 at Petsmart. That's a big markup... for a snake that you won't know the hatch date or who the breeder was.

Brother, if I was you, I wouldn't buy from a local store ( I would buy from a local breeder though). Find a reputable breeder on Morphmarket, pay the $50 shipping and you will end up with a good ball python.

Sadly that's where I've gotten all of mine lol, but I can tell you this all my animals are in perfect condition and happy...minus my Pastel....I saw how aggressive he was and knew something was wrong and I wanted to get him away from that....he finally struck me last night and broke skin...but I didn't flinch or anything I just looked at him and knew he was mishandled when he was at pets mart....it's going to take time to help him realize I'm not his enemy but after he struck me I just carefully placed him in his new tank and just waited for him to slither off and explore....he needed more room and I know that the associates there didn't know wtf they were doing....

If you want the look of a pretty banana but not all the freckles, look into a *candy.

Its hard to tell but this is Ethos. He's a super pastel banana. Pic 1 is him when he first got here. Pic 2 is a year and a bit later. You can see his speckles. I was attempting to get a photo of him in the grass....but he hates the grass haha. As well one was no flash, overhead light and one was glaring sunlight and crappy cell phone camera.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...9b0440e640.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...eff7aead35.jpg

id say under $250 before shipping charges and buy from an online breeder rather than support a bad place like petco or petsmart.

We have a gorgeous (to us, at least) Pastel Banana BP who currently weighs in at 170 grams. His spots/freckles/beauty marks are just starting to show. As others have said, what is an aging banana without spots?

It is my understanding that certain morphs when combined with Banana will suppress the spots. I believe that Mojave and Lesser Morphs will accomplish that but I would rely on people with actual knowledge of BP morphs (definitely not me) to weigh in before spending your money.

This is my citrus pastel coral glow/banana, yellow belly no spots. I've heard citrus pastel is a lighter brighter pastel.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...62ba73300b.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...f0f850fa9f.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...a94a5b3ad4.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...90eec2f0b0.jpg
