The best way is to use a nickel-sized blob of from a hot glue gun. Super effective!

This is so precious!!!! I'm sick and I was miserable all morning and this just lifted up some of my spirit. Happy birthday you little booping noodle!

I take a q tip and put a small amount of bag balm on the hat and then the hat goes on her head. Never ever use a hot glue gun lol. You could use Vaseline too. I don't use petrol products though so bag balm it is. I'm knitting a noodle snoodle now lol.
