He finally ate!!!!

This little stinker hadn't eaten since the end of February. Tried mice, rats, live, thawed, pre-killed everything. Even recently moved him to a tub setup and he still refused meals. Today dropped a live "fancy"mouse in and sure enough BAM!!! Planning on thawing out one of these black hooded fancy rats my repticon supplier gave me and hoping my boy slams it no issue. B/C I've heard some animals DEFINITELY have a preference on the color/gender/etc of the prey item they've given. Yikes.

Some of these comments tho...LMAO one of the four I bought looks like she might be prego so she has received a stay of execution to find out for sure. If she is that would be nice as these are a little more expensive than just white mice.

[emoji849][emoji849] no I have two snakes that only eat mice and usually buy 4 or 6 at a time and not all get eaten at once so yes they have a little mouse house where they live a life of luxury while they await execution. Well maybe not luxury but it's pretty comfortable lol

Okay good. Some people decide to keep a potentially pregnant mouse and don't realise how many more items they'll need to buy for that (food, bedding, etc). Or how messy and stinky things can become if not taken care of properly in even 2 days.

Yea the smell is why I don't breed mice. I breed my own rats, and cleaning regularly it's manageable but man you put a couple tiny ass mice together and boy what an odor. But yea I bought them a nice little enclosure for when I have to keep the extras
