threads coming up blank????

A fellow member just informed me he can't see my threads. I've had the same problem not being able to see certain threads. Any ideas? Anybody else having this issue?

yep, started last night. I see the subject but the screen goes blank on certain subjects.

p.s. I can see them on tapatalk but not on the BP.net website

I've been experiencing the same! There have been at least three threads I have been unable to open and still won't load, just blank pages.

It's happening to me as well.

Yes. It started with the thread titled "...I can't believe this is happening..."
I assumed it was coming up blank because the mods had blocked it, perhaps something sensitive or very personal was going on. Today another thread with an innocuous title also came up blank. Neither comes up at all, no matter how I try to access. Not a big deal, but I was curious.

Chalked it all up to a very old second-hand Linnix computer tottering on its last legs. I have zero tech skills.

yes, a few have done this to me as well for the last few days. For instance - the thread under Site Info "hey admins: lots of pictures aren't working today" just brings me to a blank page and I've never been able to view the thread.

meant to add - Tried both Chrome and IE on desktop

Since yesterday I can't see some posted photos (shows error message) and I get a blank white page when I open various posts... same, happened with IE and Chrome

It's a tapatalk issue - thread titles with apostrophies (') in them don't open in anything apart from tapatalk - it's being looked into by the smart half of the admin team ( i.e. Emily :oops: ).

Bear with us please. :please:

It's a problem that we had in the past and that only affect threads with an apostrophe in the title, apparently the tapatalk upgrade caused the issue but it is being looked into.

In the mean time until the issue is fixed I am editing thread's title that contain an apostrophee at least those I come across and that are recent ;)

Darn it!! Stop using apostrophes!!!! :rage: :P

Really sorry everyone, I was hoping to get this fixed quickly but it's more complicated than I realized.

I could disable Tapatalk to resolve the problem, but I think that would make people more unhappy than dealing with a few threads that don't work. So please do not use apostrophes in your thread titles for now, and I will keep Tapatalk up and running for the forum even though it is causing some problems.

Got a temporary fix for the issue. But please tell me, does everything look and function correctly in Tapatalk for you now?

if you accidentally like (thank) a post on tapatalk you can't un-like ("remove thanks") from that post.

It is a bit of a nuisance if you accidentally catch the LIKE button on a bad post ..

In reference to not being able to unlike/unthank a post in Tapatalk--how were you doing that before? Did you just click the Like/Thank button a second time? (I don't use Tapatalk very often.) I removed the fix and I still could not unlike a post that I had liked. So I am wondering if that change came with the Tapatalk update and not the fix I put in place.

i don't think it has ever worked for me on tapatalk. i don't think this is a new issue.

I am now able to view the threads with apostrophes in the title. (I only use a desktop)
