VPI Axanthic Coral Glow x Vanilla Calibee
This is their third time pairing and their first confirmed lock. A very exciting pairing for me! I hope she takes!https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...a1448ad081.jpg

I sold my bumble bee when I started breeding a few years ago and said I wasn't going to work with spider but calibees always tempt me. Good luck with your project!

I caught her laying inverted exactly one month after pairing, and a few times since then. Tried pairing again night before last, but no locks witnessed. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...f379937e3a.jpg

Nice pairing! Once a month on a lock will do it. Grats.

wow Jiraiya is a stud! isn't this gonna be like the 2nd clutch he's fathered? congrats!

    :pinkele:

Edit: i think Orochimaru might be getting antsy w/ Jiraiya getting all the play. i think Matatabi would pair well w/ him. Enchi and Leopard can give Champs some nice pattern. or Tsunade for a longer term double recessive project. :gj: :)

Yup will be Jiraiya's second clutch. I've been pairing Orochimaru with Temari since January, but he acts shy lol. Matatabi is for him for sure, just waiting until she hits 1500g.

What love birds! I have several females that lay inverted like that, I even had a male do it, even off season without locks. I'm thinking it's normal behavior even outside of breeding season. The females seem to do it more than the males, not really sure what makes them roll on their sides like that. But with all of those locks I'd bet you'll get eggs!

So far I haven't had them do it outside of being paired recently, but know it happens. Definitely getting hopeful for eggs ☺. She has been acting very hungry, and putting on weight.

I just felt a follicle when putting her back in her bin after cleaning! Hoping for a visible ovulation soon.

CG Calibee's (het. VPI Ax) would be awesome!

Edit: also did u know that the morph name for (VPI) Axanthic Coral Glows/Banana's is "White Smoke" ? apparently the original CG het Whitesmoke was from NERD, obtained by VPI who produced the first visual Whitesmoke.

Yup I did! I've heard regular CG's being called white smoke too though oddly.

Ino looks like she's getting uncomfortable! https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...8a385889cb.jpg
