Nasty Pied
I haven't had this guy long, but it's the second time I've found him all curled up with his excrement. And of course being all white, you can see it when he smears it in himself. I suppose that can be good or bad depending on how you look at it.
Anyone else have a snake that does this? My other ones typically move to another hide when they foul one up.

Re: Nasty Pied
None of my BP from work does this.. They usually move away from poop to another hide like you said.
Maybe someone else knows why that kind of behaviour.
Have to notice the Nokia game mode position he is in :)

Yeah, I've had to wash mine more than once :/

I have never had them lay in it except when breeding. Some of mine like to play with it though and it always seems to be the white ones. LOL

Maybe he thinks he laid an egg LOL. He seemed upset with me that I made him move so I could clean up.

I guess the light colored snakes are trying to camouflage themselves. They know they're pale.

That's an absolute stunning snake but he'd look ten times better on some dark substrate such as Orchid bark or similar IMHO !

I just opened Tyson's enclosure and immediately caught a whiff...lifted his warm side hide and there he is, cuddled up with his stinker....ugggh

Oh man that sucks LOL! All my bp's move off their waste, especially poop, and try to get as far away from it as possible.

Normal behavior is to move away from poop and not to use urates as a pillow. I don't know what's wrong with this goofball.
On a positive - he's probably the best eater in the house. I have to be careful opening his tub at night because he will come out like a bat out of hell looking for food.

LOL, maybe he's lonely and fancies Super Cinnamons.

He outgrew his old hide, so I changed it the other day. He had been in his warm hide since, but had eaten as well, so I figured just digesting...
I guess he wasn't digging the new hide because it was too big. I added a little clutter inside the hide and in he went and he's been in there since he went back into his enclosure.
I guess he was trying to tell me something by not switching hides after he pooped.
Message received, Tyson. Thanks pal. :D

White snakes are brown, white horses are green.

My snakes usually run from their poop or pee. It's easy to tell when they do it as i will see them pacing the front of the cage.
