    full bloom snake series (artwork)
I thought I'd share this with you guys here, because it became a lot more popular online than I expected! I painted this last Friday and put it on my twitter and other art sites.

    https://ball-pythons.net/forums/cach...rkqo1_1280.jpg

The funny thing is that this isn't any species in particular haha. I was imagining Pixie/my scrub python's body shape though, but the white with red eyes thing is totally imaginary.

I think I'll start a series of snakes covered in flowers, since people seem to like this stuff!! Next will be an imaginary cobra of some sort.

Here are a couple other recent unrelated pieces, just so my post doesn't have just one drawing LOL...

    Thanks for looking!

I actually like the second two the best. There often seems to be the impression of wind in your stuff. It is a very nice distinction. The rendering of the sky in the last one is exceptional. You should look at doing some book covers (I have no idea if there is real money in it), your work is very eye catching.

Wow, thanks Jodan- I'm really glad the impression of wind comes across.

I'm actually illustrating for three children's books right now (all at the same time haha ugh), for which include the covers and the inside illustrations!

I also draw for Disney TVA full-time. There is real money in this drawing stuff, quite a bit! :D

Very nice work. The snake picture reminds a bit of Audubon, of whom I am a big fan. He drew bird pictures, mainly, with a few pieces of plant and a white background. I would definitely like to see more in that style.

    thanks much April!

Ant, I just looked him up and yeah I've seen his nature art before! I love that kind of feel too, with an animal and some plants. His stuff would make really great tattoos. LOL

I do sell them, but I don't think I'm allowed to post it publicly on the forum. If you google my name (Fiona Hsieh), you'll find my art sites and links though. :D

Zincubus, I'm an artist for Disney Tv Animation, not Disneyland! Haha
I don't do art requests actually, since I do this for a living/get paid for it- each of my paintings cost from a few hundred for private individuals to a few thousand for companies. :D But these are ones I did for fun on my own time. (The second painting of the beach was actually a commission for someone though) and yes, it's painted digitally!

    thanks guys!!
