I'm so worried about all the hawks or other birds I wouldn't take the chance. I get nervous just holding them outside in the sun. LOL Maybe I worry about it too much.
I worry about hawks too, we have a lot of them at our house, my snake was down for maybe two mins and believe me, I was right on top of him the whole time......I was in panic mode. That's why I don't do it often [emoji85]

I think you can capture some awesome pictures of your snakes in the grass, but I would worry if little bugs from the grass and ground would get on them... Guess I am just being overly protected on my gang :ninja:

Here's Mr. Noodle. Not quite in the grass, but outside in a tree! He's too fast for me to be comfortable giving him that much space to dart around in the grass at his size.

I'm still a bit afraid to put Django, my King on the ground though. He's still too quick, even at 52ish inches and 780ish grams.
Last year he tried bolting on me, caught me off guard. I'm gun shy since, hahaha.

Thanks!! That stripe reminded me of a ghost when he was a baby. I almost named him Casper because of it. As he's grown it's elongated, so I'm glad I went with Tyson, it suits him better, anyway. Hahaha.

Since he's a colubrid, and we're about the colubrid love right now, here's Cosmo in the grass earlier today.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...8258c980d9.jpg
