Be aware! I lost six of my babies!

When I got home from work, I smelled fumes in the front of the house. I never realized the Village was spraying for the bug problem we're having and my windows were open slightly. I missed the notices...my mom passed on Mother's Day and I've been dealing with a lot of things...All of my Neodesha cages got fumigated because they face the sides of the windows. I've lost Ayasha and Twister (corns), Bernie (rosy boa), Coco (AHS) and my spotted pythons Barb and Gary, named for my Mom and Stepdad.
A lot of people spray their lawns for weed and pest control. Be very careful around your windows, especially when it's windy.

I'm sorry to hear that.
We don't use any sprays or chemicals because we have feeder roaches and tarantulas.

Not that it will help with the loss, but can you put in a claim with the city or anything? Since you didn't receive the notice?

I have original paperwork for my snakes. Nothing for their stuff, though. And nothing's been taken away yet. I can take pictures and look into a claim. I didn't think of that. It wouldn't replace them, really.

:( Man, what a sad story for sure. My condolences go out to you for the losses. I certainly am on board with the "claim" ideas if only for your personal right to due process of suffering a loss. I would also consider a casualty loss on my income taxes down the road. Very sad indeed DLena.
