Eats well and everything

Edit: I was wrong about information. I apologize. I am still concerned about your breeding plans as you still seem to be lacking a lot of basic knowledge (e.g. spurs).

He's buying expensive stuff too. Hope he keeps asking questions and following advice. Maybe he will pay us all off with a free scaleless. LOL. I chickened out of that project.

I would consider putting more weight on the male. How old is he?

I was wrong about the two weeks ago - that was someone else. Still seems to be very very new.

As I said, I really am sorry I got your timeline wrong. I have no plans to further critique your breeding plans as it would clearly be unwelcome and ineffective. Please do continue to ask any questions you need - I promise I will avoid any further negative commentary on your posts.
As to my free time, I actually don't have very much but either way that is my own business.

For me personally, I would give him more time. I prefer 800g minimum for my males. It's all about overall health for me not overall egg production x

I don't even waste my time with males that small.
They usually do their best at 650 grams and over.
At 500 grams many will not breed for you and you have to be very cautious should you give it a try, breeding can take it's toll very quick and some people in a hurry have bred small males to death.
Being able to read your animals, knowing when to pair is very important with smaller males.
