    Blood python in the sunset..
Enjoyed the beautiful evening taking a couple snakes outside into the fading light..

Here is Sandor. He was so not thrilled with the grass. Most of my snakes seem to hate grass. They just "freeze" on it. Maybe because its prickly?
Sandor just kept crawling back into my lap, I had to put him back onto the grass to snap a couple quick pics.
He was so not impressed... ;)

Such a beautiful snake. I was not familiar with Blood Pythons until seeing Sandor.

Side note, your irrigation is on point. Very jealous of your luscious grass, mine still looks like a hayfield. No bueno.

We have hot weather grass (centipede) so usually it stays yellow/brown until late in the spring. But we have had SUCH a mild winter and now it feels like summer, it has really greened up early.
But it doesn't look that great all over :(

That area of the yard holds water well. (but also stays flooded longer after heavy rains). Others are not quite so lush. And then there are the yellow crop circles (aka dog pee spots, lol)
But I can't complain. Overall it looks green, and I'm happy with it :)

Interesting, I have St. Augustine and it needs alot of water and we have been fairly dry, as usual, during the winter. The front yard looks much better than the back.

Yellow crop circles. So awesome! That made me just realize what I found out front yesterday!!! Someone walked their dog a little too far into my front yard. A really BIG dog apparently!:(

My back yard is more level, so it holds water better. Which can be a good thing, or bad (if to much rain). Front has a slight slope, so the water runs off. Usually the lawn in the back is "lusher".

A yellow circle from someone else's dog? That is just great!! People are so rude. That is a pet peeve of mine. I take my own dogs mess and deal with it, but other people should keep their dogs on a leash and use their own yards as their dogs bathroom. I sometimes see people let their dogs poop in other peoples front yards and then walk away. Sheesh...

I agree, the back should end up being "lusher" this summer but the front yard has large trees that I think protected the grass during the winter. Just a guess, new house, and I'm just figuring it out. We've been renovating from the inside-out and the out has been neglected thus far...

People can be rude but I've never heard that about Miami folks. ;) Actually, I live in about as quiet and woodsy of a neighborhood you can get here and we do have a number of families and dog walkers in the mornings and evenings because of the lack of thru-traffic. Plus the lots are HUUUGE by Miami standards, as in, a half acre. lol Guess my neighbors feel like its open season. Might be time for some new plantings out front and a snake crossing sign!

I haven't tried again yet, because I had 1 more live mouse left on feeding day. Next Monday I am going to try heating up a f/t for her. I really hope I can get her switched over soon, because it's a huge pain having to keep live mice on hand just for her!

Zandor is gorgeous!!! now I want a blood [emoji51]

    Thanks for sharing!

BTW I have a great d. and a retriever and the only way I've found to keep spots to the minimum is by soaking the spot right after they go, and I keep a bag of seeds close, just throw a little of them from time to time and water after. [emoji97] lots of it. LOL
