What a difference 6 months makes. This is my daughters baby boy, Charlie.

He hates me hisses and strikes etc but she can literally do anything with him and he is just so cute and calm lol

First pic when we got him 6 months ago and 2nd pic a few days ago xx

Thanks pit :) he is around 8 months now weighs just a tad over 600g. He is a solid feeder only ever missed one the first time I offered after he arrived.

He really is my daughters baby though he won't even let me change his water without throwing a hissy fit hahah xx

Wow.. Got my male 6months old, weighted 180grams then, 7, 5 months now, and weights barely 300 and eats really well. Even give him food over 10% of his body weight.
With What do you feed yours?gmo rats? Haha.
Are you sure it isn't a female? [emoji3]
That is interesting .. How he doesn't like you and feels calm with your daughter.. He trusts her. That is one goal to reach with snakes [emoji106]

He just has size appropriate prey items. A friend of mine works on a working farm with petting zoo so he even has the occasional fresh baby guinea pig or such dependant on what births they have. I don't feed him live tho xx

He came as a male, I have never questioned because he won't be a breeding snake just a much loved pet :) xx

Wow! Amazing growth. So he eats aired meals. What size enclosure is he in now. Ours are about the same size as your first photo and around 6/7 months old.

To be honest he will eat whatever you offer him. He is in a 33l rack system at present recently moved up from slightly smaller. Xxx

Thank you. I have been thinking of moving them to a rack system. A couple of stuck sheds have me seriously considering it. The kids are so used to seeing them in their glass starter tanks, though. Decisions...

Funny, that makes sense but the growth is still impressive.

Side note, my daughter is 8 and loves her BP just as much. Congrats on a happy and I'm sure lovely family!

I am beginning to learn that is likely the best route for BPs. I have a new Bredli that is arboreal and does not need the humidity so he may be the only one I keep in a large display enclosure.
