    Pokigron Suriname!
Ok well, as those who have followed me know, I was after a Peruvian BCC but those that know me know my plans very rarely follow the path I set out lol. With that said, I ended up caving and picking up this late 2016 Rentfro Pokigron Suriname female. These are the breeders pics as I haven't gotten the snake yet. He sent me videos of her and she is ULTRA tame. He is just picking her up and touching her head and everything to show how calm she is and she is just looking at him like "what the heck are you doing!!?" lol. Anyways, I'm so excited!!

The parents were produced from Gus Rentfro in 2006. :D

Thanks man. Was going to hold out but I fell in love with how uniform she looks overall along with the pretty even widow peaks and her tail. Plus cant go wrong with her parents' parents being from Gus Rentfro's 2006 Pokigrons. Plus I love the lines running along both sides of her saddles down her back. The only slight hiccup she has is between saddle 2 and 3 where the left side line is a little thicker but that's just splitting hairs haha.

Thanks. I love the look of her. And yeah I already need another T8 and I haven't even put anyone in one yet haha. I'll order another one next month, got to first finish paying off this Suri hopefully tomorrow/today so she can ship Monday. The awesome thing about her is she wont even put a dent in the food fund haha as she eats a medium mouse every 2 weeks.

And yeah, like I said, I wanted a Peruvian but I was open to a Suriname if an awesome female popped up and it did. Plus like I said, her bloodline is awesome too. Got her from Chris Wolf who said both her parents were from 2006 Rio Bravo pure Pokigron Surinames that he bought.

Seriously as good as it gets!! Best boa guy out there IMO. Gus was the king of locality boas.

My boa was produced by Gus.

You have the cream of the crop there.

    Congrats! I'm envious.

Yeah seems so. And like I said to you, since this is my last snake for this year at least mwahaha, I wanted to go out with a bang and it doesn't get much more bang than a 2nd generation Rio Bravo pure blood Pokigron Suriname with almost perfect pattern imo. And a female to boot which is what I really wanted. And to add more, she is puppy dog tame even as an almost 7 month old baby. I hope she grows up to be like Rosey. That would be awesome.

    Awesome.

Hey the buddy of mine here who is friends or at least chats with Gus says to keep a Suri on mice for the first year.

I'm not sure what she is on now, but if its rats and she's established keep at it.

The PM I sent has a lot of great info. The raising and the breeding parts.

    Very in depth stuff.

Can't say it enough,,,, I'm thrilled for you!

She's on medium mice once every 2 weeks. She'll be 7 months old March 23. The breeder even sent me pics of the litter as they were being born lol. Awesome and gross at the same time haha.

Nice choice-I had to scroll back up to find her "imperfection", I prefer a funky pattern on my snakes so cracked me up a little. Will be great to see her grow up on here.

Same for my morphs as I think it gives personality but for the Suri, I wanted as close to a perfect pattern/peaks as I could get. She seems pretty close to me so I'm happy :D
