Honestly, I would wait a while before getting into breeding. Raise your first BP and if all goes well and you are still interested, by all means, get some breeders. For now though, it's best to do some research and work on keeping this little guy as happy as possible. :) Nice snake by the way.

Thank you! I love my other snake , a corn snake i've had for a few years. Though i've always wanted a ball python . I wasn't thinking about going head first into breeding atm , but asked the question as kind of a inquisitive what if haha .

With all those goodie genes anything would be nice! Even a normal female will give you lots of different snakes! In my opinion is not about packing as many genes as possible into one snake :)

Edit: You don't have ghost/hypo in that snake. It is orange ghost, spider and banana :)

I agree that getting a little more experience is a good idea but it never hurts to plan for the future. A good way to get more experience and plan for the future is to get another ball python regardless. Raising from a hatchling can be a fun experience and teach you a lot. But don't necessarily pick one because it pairs well with yours, just pick one that you like and that you know you'll be happy with breeding or not. By the time your ready to breed, you'll already have two that you know you like to work with and by that time there will be more combos to choose from for your breeding project. Odds are if you raise your two up and still feel you want to breed, your going to want more anyway, they are kind of addicting lol. Good luck.

Personally, I would get a calico orange ghost. I LOVE the mixture of high white sides on calico mixing with the white sides of a spider.

    Here's a Calico Orange Ghost Spider: http://www.worldofballpythons.com/mo...-ghost-spider/

Now imagine some of that with banana... yep. That's my pick :)

Banana Calicos are awesome. Hypo Calicos are awesome. Calico Spiders are awesome. Banana Calico Spider Hypos would be INSANE! :O

So yeah - my vote right now is for a Calico Hypo girl for him. Who knows though - maybe in a couple of years there'll be something else new and exciting for him!

Your right. But OP said that the snake was orange ghost, ghost, spider and banana. I was just saying that there is no ghost in banana honeybee :)

Yeah. It just sounded weird when you said that it didn't have Hypo when it is an Orange Ghost combo.

Ghost/orange ghost/hypo are all the same morph under a different name.

Personally I throw that boy at an enchi het ghost girl, but I'm an enchi addict so grain of salt there haha.

Edit: or the calico/sugar idea too!

I think an enchi calico het ghost girl would be a good idea:gj:

Yes and that is why I wrote that the snake was a orange ghost, spider, banana.
Not a orange ghost, ghost, spider, banana as it is described as in the first post.

Yep, I know, just that what you wrote seemed awkward/confusingly worded so I was trying to help clarify!
