tryed to compare a large rat with adrian, my 5'5 BCI. didnt work out to well. lol. thats my SFE

soooo, you stuck your hand next to her while you were holding a large rat?! from the looks of it she seemed to think the size was just fine. :O

lol actually, i set the lg rat dwn (it was frozen) n went to pick her up to straighten her out so that i didnt get bit....hmmm. i dont think it worked lol. owell, it was my fault, not that big of a deal really, xcept i thnk she hit a blood vessel or sumthn in my finger.

I got bit by my 5.5' boa. It hurt, but really not a lot. The alcohol I put on it to clean it hurt much worse than the bite.

Of course the pain level depends on how hard/where the snake hits you! But, what I'm trying to say is, if you haven't been bit before, don't worry yourself over it!

lol wanna make things more interesting? i had rocky, my 5'5 male out today, and i caught my foot on his tooth. thats right, i said it, i caught my foot on his tooth. literally, he didnt bite

My boa caught her tooth on herself! Ripped the thing right out of her mouth. I saved it of course. Boa teeth are cool. :)

Still the only time i have seen a snake open its mouth is to eat or to yawn which looks really wierd.
