Yackle - My Ugly BP Part II

here are some pix of one of my Clowns. this is Yackle. she was very ugly to me as a baby. but i've learned to appreciate her and she is a total sweetie.

her pattern to me is interesting. it's reduced but busy at the same time. most of her tear drops are not complete. they're just dots on the side. and she has dotting on her dorsal stripe which i did not like at the beginning. i'm cool with it now.

Looks pretty good to me!

Not ugly at all. Sometimes the browns and golds work well on an animal when distributed correctly at least to my eye. When it comes to breeding I am of the belief that even an ugly animal can be crossed in such a way that it makes beautiful ones. I have been told by multiple people my enchi was butt ugly but every one of her babies was hot this year. Just a matter of adding the right ingredients to enhance the flavor of what is already there.

Ugly??? Where are you getting this nonsense!

That snake is beautiful! If i saw that at the pet store it would come back home with me

thanks. that's the thing. i want to throw my Leopard triple het boy at her, but i'm unsure how the clutch will come out. will the pattern be busy? will it be reduced? i can't tell b/c her pattern is a lil bit of both. (but admittedly, i think she kinda looks Leopard-ish already.)

actually my boy Leopard is 100% Clown or Albino, 66% Pied and 50% Axanthic. it was kind of a "Who's your daddy?" situation. Did the Albino Pied or the Clown het Pied get the momma? i will have to find out!

So it's either 100% dh albino and pied and 50% ph axanthic or 100% het clown, 66% ph pied and 50% ph axanthic. I hope you find it exciting to prove stuff out... I think that'd be a little too messy for me haha

i have visual females of each recessive to pair him to. :) so hopefully it will be easy for the first clutches to sort out before diving into double or triple recessive stuff. :D

She is far from ugly, just have to be able to appreciate the natural tones. She looks huge! I would of thought she weighed a lot more than she does. I actually find her pattern to be more interesting than a lot of clowns. I'd love to see what kind of leopard clowns she makes, could be really cool!

After seeing the title of this post I already wanted to grab the BP and hug her !!! Expecting a ugly but cute and deserving one.

Then this stunner of a Ball Python shows up.

I still want to hug her, though ...LOL

i'd give her a good home if you don't want her any more :rolleye2:

Sorry, she was gorgeous then, and she's gorgeous now. ;)
