How does one become a mod?
O.K., I'm interested in becoming a moderator, how does one go about applying?:community

I'm not completely sure, but I think...
They choose. I dont think therre is an aplication or anything. I think they judge by the way the users act and knowledge and go from there, if they see someone who would be fair and make a good mod.. thats how they choose I think.

the admin council chooses candidates when there is a need and if the candidates accept the invitation they are appointed as mods. we just got 2 new mods so it will most likely be a while before there is a need again, but i'm sure that the admin council will keep you in mind. bpbabe is right--no application, they choose someone who is knowledgeable and handles themselves well in the forum setting and who would fill in any empty spots in the current team.

What is "IO"? Sad to say if I don't know what it is, it's a safe bet I don't have it LOL. Prepare yourself for the shock....out here on lovely Lake Charlevoix we don't have digital cable yet and I think just maybe we might be getting DSL someday.

Pssstt....I don't know what "IO" is either! And I just got DSL "Lite" last month, only because I was too cheap to switch over from dial up! But I think they conned me and gave me regular DSL judging by the bill. I'm still waiting for my $100 credit to show up.

I not only have sucky dial-up I have the world's cheapest sucky dial-up....$6.00 for 3 months...whoooohoooo! Actually it works just fine so far.

I'm new to the whole DSL. I've only been able to get it for the last 7 months and there's no way I'll go back! Can't make me....uh uh....no way!!! :neener:

well IO is just a fancy way of saying you can fast forward and rewind the things you watch ( it's great) and my mom just got rid of DSL lol. cable modem for me ;) at first it sucked but once i got all the junk off of my computer it's way faster than DSL (atleast for me) and aside from IO digital cable sucks. do you know how many times i've had to reset my cable box? (i mean really reboot my cable box) stay clear away from it joanna lol.
