Congrats! I'm waiting for my first shed, and hoping it doesn't happen while I'm out of town!
How old is your baby? It always amazes me how big even the babies look in pictures. You think you're looking at an adult (or at least to my untrained eye) until you see some thing else in the picture to reference the size (deck of cards, for instance). LOL

Congrats on the first shed! I would bet that most new keepers don't get perfect sheds the first time, so you must've done sumthin right! :)

Thanks again, He was actually hated on May 6/05 so he's pushing 3 months old now. The Father was a Pastel and the Mother was a Normal.

Re: Check This Out...(Pics)
Ginger’s last shed went so fast I was shocked. When I first brought her home from petco, (ya I know now) her first shed was horrible and a eye cap refused to come off and it took a week to complete. I was so worried. I called a vet. He said to bring her in if the next shed didn’t fix the problem. Her next shed came and went a bit better the eye cap came off. Her last shed I noticed her eyes had gone bluish and the next day she looked beautiful. I found her shed in her clay pot hide in two parts her complete head and the rest in one peace.
Re: Check This Out...(Pics)
Hmmm do snakes actually shed faster (more efficiently) as they get older or would that be a result of better husbandry in a home vs a pet store?

I'd have to say that it's all in the snake. If anything the older the snake gets the longer it takes. Good husbandry would just help it go smooth.
