FedEx just dropped him off about an hour and half ago. I'm at work so these pics my fiance sent is all I have for now. I love his stupid cute little face already.

Such a funny story! I took so long naming my snake that my mom literally went, "Just so you know I'm naming him Mike because you can't pick a name." Yeah noooo he isn't Mike despite that hahahaha. You must be so excited to get home!

Yeah at first it was gonna be Salazar Slytherin or Nagini, then she changed her mind and wasn't sure. For a while it was gonna be Dr. Jones(as in Indiana) because why not name him after someone who is terrified of them lol. Korben or Leeloo Dallas were ideas that were floated around. Then we were watching the Minions movie and she said if I ordered a morph with a lot of yellow it would be named Kevin.

And YES I am so excited.

I'm gonna let him be for a couple days to get settled but something funny happened. His enclosure is behind our couch. My fiance said "He's looking at you" and as soon as I looked at him, he did that gaze change that people do when you catch them staring at you. 😂

When I got up last night to use the bathroom, Kevin was checking out his new digs, no doubt deciding what he can rub on because, it turns out, he's shedding. Explains why he was less yellow than I expected when he arrived. This morning while getting ready for work, he was in his hot hide and I could see his side through the entrance and he's looking much yellower. I didn't see the shed anywhere, but I didn't really look that much either(could be under the fake plants). I'm gonna check him out when I get home later just to make sure he's not stuck shed.

Yep, it was under the plants.

So I let him out for our first interaction.

I like simple names. I have Harvey and Mikey. My previous snakes who were adopted were George, Ernie, and Ted. Kevin is a lovely little guy, and I love his namesake!

Everything the light touches is your kingdom Kevin, but not the Doritos!

I was trying to think of a Lion King joke for that picture but I just could not think of one, so THANK YOU for that [emoji1]

Unrelated, but his info sheet from Reptiles By Mack said he was born 7/14/16, but he's only 107 gram. I feel like the date is either off or that's the egg lay date. It also said he was on small Live mice, so I have some work in front of me. I'm thinking if he doesn't take a thawed mouse I'll try to find a live fuzzy rat to get him on rats first and then try to transition him to F/T.

He's transitioned to f/t rats since my last post. Up to 197g as of an hour ago, although I'm sure he has a poop or two in there that'll drop that a bit.

I put my GoPro in his enclosure to tape him feeding and this was the only interesting part as he pulled it into his hide to consume shortly after. Shot at 120 FPS, played back at 30ish and slowed down a bit more when I made the GIF

Yeah it was really interesting to watch. It's kind of amazing, for as dumb and goofy as they can be sometimes, they can expertly execute such precise maneuvers faster than we can blink.
