Building a base for my AP enclosures thats 18" high with storage.
Was 50 degrees in NY today and it felt like heaven. I was up by 5:45am, drew up some plans quick and was off to Lowes ;)
Grabbed some framing material and a good peice of 1/2" Plywood.
Tomorrow I'll put a shelf for the Herpstat and below that will be supplies.
Also have to get a nice handle and hinges for the door. Heres some pics from today with 2 of 3 of my partners in crime.

Throw some big wheels on that and you're golden!

    I absolutely love the dogs!

Dogs were my first hobby and my wife and I used to compete and trial with them. Our Current Presa.http://i772.photobucket.com/albums/y...a/DSC00063.jpg And agin with our trainer and friend.

    http://i772.photobucket.com/albums/y...a/IMG_4471.jpg

Our first presa. Titled in French Ring and PSA.
    RIP. Best dog ever.

Our old pit, with Colby blood. RIP girl.

Inexcusable that I don't have our new pit rescue here, and also sorry about the thread Hijack. I saw your beautiful dogs and figured I show mine off too. For you of course.

Bottom line,,,, that base is really nice!

Thx bro.. Im happy with it & I wasn't sure i would be lol. The AP base is to low for me, 8" is nothing so I figure this will get them up to a good display hight..

Yeah, I hear ya. I love custom built and am considering building my own enclosures, but a big part of me says to just let the pros do it

    Wow...

That is amazing. That is actually much BETTER then store bought. And "custom fit".

I wish I was that handy.

And you are right, this is a much better height, who wants to lay flat on the floor to "see" their snake in a nice cage, haha.
    Plus storage.

That design would also work for a Glass tank and you made it look great too!!! Some people will always stick to the 20 long or Breeder tanks and it could solve a lot of their heating/Humidity issues. You really made that Perfect. Amazing hahahaha

Got a email Update from Ali today.. Looks like at this point they are planning on shipping my 2 enclosures by the end of the 13th week (March 31st).
Keep this In mind if your thinking of ordering anything other than a T8.
If all goes as planned it looks like with shipping I will have waited 15 weeks.... Definitely worth it, but good to plan ahead. Im very happy to hear its coming along. [emoji322][emoji324][emoji324][emoji322][emoji12]
