Their fine bro... The biggest light problem is when people heat with regular lights because the snakes dont want to be in a spotlight 24/7. They have some cool color LED. The bue looks good too and I ordered White in all my enclosures because im into a clean look..just dont get wild & use tape inside.. Use DAP bath & Kitchen Silicone.

They're fine but you don't want to leave them on 24/7. The problem arose with people leaving red lights on at night because they think the ball python can't see it, which is not true. You can have a red light on for 12 hours a day, just turn it off at night so you don't disrupt their day/night pattern.

Yes that's totally fine! As long as it's dark at night you can use any color led you want during the day.

You could use them on a 12pm-12am schedule if you want. Just out them on a timer :)

Do you have a source? Because I've read differently, and all the red night time bulbs, would suggest otherwise. I'd like more information about this.

No I wouldn't do that personally... your snake wants it to be dark at night when he is out and about. Any light will be disruptive to him and possibly stress him out/cause him to not feed as well. I wouldn't do any light past midnight for my snakes.. any light should be on during the day, not at night. Remember that during the day his cage is still being lit with the ambient lighting around your house and the room he is in.. so you would not be providing him with 12 hours of darkness.

I've used red heat bulbs or red led lights for several of my snakes for years without issues. The IR heat bulbs I keep on 24/7 unless I want to drop my temps.

All I use is red night bulbs, have two 2014 males weighing 1300 grams plus. So I would say red bulbs are definitely ok in my experience. :)
