she weighed in at 2421 grams last month, and was at 2333 back in oct. she's now at 1673.

congrats! I hope to one day experience the excitement with my kiddos!

all 7 will be 100% het clown, but i hope all are butter pastel pinstripe as well.

I just paired up my first pair ever, a Jungle Woma Spider x Spider Pied. I'm hoping to someday get a Jungle Woma Pied, will have to breed back the hets to get it. I don't think it's ever been produced before. I think I may be close, I had the male in with the female several times, I think I saw an ovulation, then she kept laying on her side like she was uncomfortable, all good signs. Now she is pacing all over the tub, just waiting for the pre lay shed, then will count down the days!!! If I'm lucky I may be able to eventually pair up the Jungle Woma Pieds and produce a Super Jungle Woma Pied. That one is going to take ten years though LOL.

i think justin kobylka has done jungle woma pieds already. i could be wrong though.

Very nice! I think you might be right that the butter may be pastel butter. When can you normally tell for sure? I'm guessing after the first shed? I'd make it a holdback for sure boy or girl depending what sex clowns you have available to breed with, they will make some amazing clown combos! I'm growing out a lesser pastel het clown to hopefully one day get some of those amazing combos myself :P

the father of this clutch is my male clown. i also have a savannah het clown male, a het clown female, and a bamboo het clown female (who i cannot wait to pair up with my clown male). additionally, i have a 1.1 pair of unrelated DH albino/clown that will be paired up once they are ready. albino clowns are freaking awesome.

Got any group shots yet, or is the little one still being a stubborn poop?

and i checked the incubator immediately after making the last post, and the final two babies are out!:D

the kingpin is 55 g, and the butter is 65 g.
