Where to buy a scale to weigh my BP
So I've had Cleopatra for a month now and I can tell she is getting bigger from feeding but also because she shed (yesterday)

I've been wanting to keep track of her weight and wanted to know a good scale to buy.

Also, how often do you guys weigh and at what times (before after a feed/before after a BM)

    Thanks,

Walmart, Amazon, Reptile Basics, Grocery Store - all of these places sell scales that measure in grams. Just make sure you get one that goes high enough for the big girls (5000g should be enough - 10,000g would be more than enough).

    Here's the one I have: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I'm a nutcase, so I weigh each animal in my collection after each BM (for consistency). :rolleye2: Others not nearly as often. Some on some sort of calendar schedule. Some never. To each their own.

lol I weigh mine before I feed each week. I was recording weights and feedings dates but have kinda slacked off over the past couple months. I guess in the beginning I was concerned that they weren't gaining like I thought they should and then they just took off. They are growing like weeds now and that's really all I care about. Being a breeder and all, I would imagine flawless records are much more important to you and I def get it. These are the first hatchling BPs I've owned and in the past I never really cared about weights. As long as they were eating and healthy I was happy.

I just upgraded to this one :

So far I love it. I used to have one of the smaller scales, but I couldn't see the numbers with the big snakes in a big enough tub on top of the scale. And it wouldn't hold the numbers for me to check once I lifted the snake out.

The new scale has the "number" part a distance away from the actual scale. Plus you can run it battery powered or through an outlet. Its nothing fancy but it works ;)
