Ball Python vs Crested Gecko

I'm just curious to see what people prefer. I'm going to make this a public poll. I have just sold all of my crested geckos and will be sticking to snakes and T's for quite a while.

The one that only eats once a week is the cutest:D

Possibly, but there are a few people out here who are obssessed with cresties too :P

I'm going to run the poll on a few other herping sites, but I think more people are more familiar with balls.

I know you'll get at least one crestie vote when my sister logs on!! :D

I didn't vote because I have zero crested gecko experience, but I totally agree with Daniel, lol. I love my leopard geckos, but my bp is so much easier to feed and handle.

That's part of the reason I switched. Once I send the cresties to their new owner, everbody (except the cat) only eats once or twice a week (and some even less than that).

Adult T's don't need to be feed every week.

Heck I had to be different and vote crested..lol

i voted for cresteds too matt! anyone want to buy any? lol i need some cash for some more balls! lol

Crested gecko gets my vote

I had to vote for BPs. Babies are so darn cute, with their oversized heads. :)
I am more of a snake person; too busy for any reptiles that have to be fed everyday.

Ball Python!

Well I had to vote ball python of course but if the SELL (Society of Evil Lizard Ladies aka tigerlily and the crew) keep tempting me I may break down in the spring and get a leopard gecko :oops:

Ok guys, leos are cool but I'll tell you what, BP's ARE BETTER!!! My male leo has the coolest peronality and my female is just nuts, she acts like a prep if you ask me, Monty rocks though, he has this houdini personality, thats what I shoulda named him, he can get out of ANYTHING! But hes cool though, he eats well, and is very gentle and kind, not to mention Pretty :P :headbang: :cool: .

I think Bp's are cooler because they have more morphs, and different colors and patterns then cresties.

I don't have a crested gecko or a bp but one sister(wendyhoo) is obsessed with crested geckos and my other sister(tigerlily) is obsessed with bp's so i actually know what they are and stuff but i do like bp's better, they're cute!

first i'd like to point out there are many different morphs with cresties... AND cresties are much different than leos...

This is a tough one, Crested's IMO I think are a little cuter all in all. Maybe it's the eyelashes that gets me. LOL! But I love my BP much more I love having to feed him only once a week and he has such a personality! Now I would've voted differently had the poll been BP Vs. Bearded Dragon!

Totally ball pythons they are soo cute with their tiny little heads :D esecially when the slither out of somewhere and you can only see the little tiny head at first then this larger chubby body follows

On the cuteness factor (LOL!!), cresties beat ball pythons any day. The little babies are so funny when they hop, or just when they look at you.

As far as care and maintenance goes, my family goes on week-long vacations 1-3x a year, so cresties aren't an option.

I voted for BP's but it's not fair to post those pics. The cuteness could swing the vote.

It really amuses me now whenever this poll crops up that I don't own cresties anymore.

see i had this problem, so the only way to solve is toooo.......get both...then in a week, youll want another of both, and another and another...when i goto the pet stores i always check on the reptiles i wish i could take em all and give em good homes.
