What is your favorite base morph?

Just with so many mixes out there these days, I thought it would be cool to see what base morphs everyone likes.

I am still a sucker for the mojaves.

if i had to pick just one it would have to be the pieds. they can stand alone and get a wow every time. people that aren't into snakes/herps even like the pieds. i like the whole list though! lol

I'm totally amazed by the Piebald, but if I could have any it would be a Super Pastel.

I can't decide, and that there is my biggest problem!!!! Too many choices, but I'm leaning more toward caramels or maybe pieds.

ha ha...you can only pick one....I know it is hard....but you have to have a favorite....

how about this.....if you had the money to get any one.....what would you buy first?

Ummm...That is exactly my problem. My husband okayed me to get a morph (probably hets) but I can't decide which kind. So I also got a trip up to Adam's shop (since I have family there anyway) to add to the birthday present. I'll let you know my favorite after the trip!! :D

Seeing them in person is definately an eye opening experience :)

For me, Spider. My first visible mutation, and I'm still amazed at what they can do!!! :)

I voted for the pastel, but really it's the combination of the pastel colors with some of the other morphs that really makes it look amazing (to me). Of course Vash looks great just as she is, but still.... The lemon lesser platy is a beautiful sight to see.

ha ha.....I started this poll and have not voted....ha....such a hard decision.

I will have to go with hypos. They are kinda under rated by some people but how can you not like an bp morph that comes in a variety of colors and is awesome when combined with all the other morphs.

I can't decide, I like them all... I think to me the most breathtaking when I first saw it was either a super pastel, or the leucistic.... To me the leucistics don't even look real!

call me old fashioned...but I've had my sights set on albino for years.

i have to say mojave as it's my newest one but i like my spider and pastel too. but it really is hard to say i like this or that better as they are always comeing out with something new.

For me it used to be Albino. But now I'm in LOVE with the Clown Ball. So beautiful.

I hate to be a buzz kill, but posting pictures that you don't own is against the TOS of the site (and technically violates copyright regulations).

I know it's a pet peeve of mine when people hot link to pictures from my site and from talking to Sean of EBN in the past, it's something he's not too keen on either.

I know you were just posthing pics of a morph that you're really jazzed about, so I hope that you don't take this the wrong way, it's really just meant as a friendly FYI. :D

I am trying to produce pieds right now, but I do think, if forced to choose, Platinums would be my favorite. :) There is just so much they do with other morphs, not to mention, being so striking in their own right. What really surprises me is how popular albino remains. Now some of the new ones, lavender ;) and carmel glow :eyepoppin :cool: :D (OMG!!!), are just about to kill for, so maybe that is helping to maintain its popularity.

FWIW, linking to the pictures is perfectly acceptable .... and if you feel like giving some props to the owner of the animal, then that's way cool!!! :cool:

I missed the pic that was posted....but I am sure it was of Sean's awesome male clown....which is by far the best looking clown I have ever seen...ha ha...when he was showing me around his shop...I kept waiting to see that one....but never got the chance :)

Ya, i'm a sucker for spiders as a base morph, although only the morphs ...haha real spiders i dont care for as much. But if i had the money and if they were available i would buy a blue eyed leucistic. They are the sweetest looking morph!!

i voted piebald because for me they are the most readily available. they are so sweet looking! i think i'm unconciously attracted to anything in white... I'm a fencer, so the white jacket look seems to be a personal statement :D

I love them all, but if I had my choice right now it would be a pied about 75% white. Its the deer and headlight syndrom for me.

Since I hope to breed pieds, hypos and clowns (not sure what else I'll be adding to the mix, either caramel albinos (starting with het) or a female pastel), I like them. I would love to see a hypo clown! Don't know if that's been produced yet or not.

I voted albino....Hmmmm or was it pieds???? Anyway, my dream collection would be pieds, albinos and axanthics...Not in any particular order....*sigh* since they're all outside my budget right now....

Mojave's be it mate. They were the reason why I got into bp's in the first place. I plan on having a nice collection of these several years down the line :)

Okay, I may have to change my vote from pied to albino because of this albino from Bob Clark's msbrd picture forum (owner just listed as "Chris"; no line listed). Just heart-stopping amazing...wow.

I voted for albino , but when I breed one the next project will be a pied.From there I'd probably go caramel or Hypo. Can't wait , I'm getting way ahead of myself!

VPI Axanthics! I'm thinking of grabbing a male and then a couple normal females for next year. The only problem I have is that I'll need a completely different room if I decide to own BPs. I would never put the Boas and Pythons in the same room.
