lol but honestly i think that hide is currently too big for your lil BP. sometimes they will cram themselves in tight spaces (like bewteen the tank wall and hide) to feel some secure.

Mine sort of does this, but he's not so crammed in and he sort of sits on top of it with some of his body behind like your's. He did it for a long time and I think he just didn't figure out his hide, yesterday was the first time I saw him inside of it (and now he loves it), but he still likes to hang out on top sometimes. Is he still going inside of his hide, and did he before? If he's not then I would totally agree with Ax01, or suggest that he perhaps hasn't noticed it yet.

Mine dont care how big the hide is as long as it has the door on the far side.
I have had new snakes take a week or two in order to acually discover the hide... Ive even put them back into the enclosure in a manner as to direct them into the hide..(stick their head in it as inlower them down) Then they start doing it on their own..not the Brightest snake Ball Pythons hahhahaha

I have one that does that. she flips her hides upside down all the time.

Yeah mine did that twice and i dont i know how... Im funny about where things are so im constantly fixing it....Drives me nuts lol
