what is your favourite ball python recessive gene? and combinations and what recessive gene do you have the most fun working with if you happen to breed any?

Desert Ghost is my #1

Unlike many other morphs or combos it gets BETTER with age.
There are so many breathtaking crazy colorful/bright hatchlings from all kinds of combos. But many tend to dull out or darken with age.

I find that Desert Ghost makes many combos retain the beauty, clean it up , brighten it up, sharpen contrast and get better with age. I'm excited to see breeders adding the desert ghost gene to many other combos !!! :)

Close seconds are "Pieds" and "Clowns"

This one is tough but if I had to choose I think clown would be the winner

It changes by the minute for me. Right now I would say the Ultramel and the Pewter.

Pied is my fav recessive.

Liking pieds, clowns and lavender albinos

For me the king of all morphs is the pied. Close second are clowns and I have been tempted to get into a Desert Ghost project.

So Ultramel! Pewter isn't actually a recessive morph. It's simply a combination of two co-dominant morphs (pastel and cinnamon), just thought I'd clear this up so it doesn't confuse anyone

Clowns are what I have yet to get my grubby paws on.

All time favorite would be pie bald. Runner ups are albino and clown.

Favorite underrated and or newer recessive gene is puzzle. Runner ups desert ghost, tri stripe and monsoon.

And favorite dream recessive i can't afford but wish i could have is sunset.

....I got a lot of favorites lol.

clowns hands down, pieds are cool I just love how the clown morphs look more.

Orange ghost, like it when mixed with dark morphs

Pied or clown. Flip a coin on which. Tho I did just take the sunset plunge on a 100% het male so we will see once I produce one how it holds up to my favourites
