What's your fav chicken wing?

ok the Superbowl is this Sunday and it's party time! a Superbowl party favorite of mine is the Buffalo wing. millions of chicken wings will be consumed and i was wondering which one(s) are your favorites? do u have a fav spot in town? do u have a recipe u wanna share?

mango habanero and spicy garlic (which wasn't listed)!

Maybe this is boring but I love the sweet BBQ flavor. There's a Buffalo Wild Wings near my place and sometimes after work I take some wings to-go.

i've only tried the lemon pepper dry rub and it was pretty good! is salt and vinegar a dry rub, too? i don't think i've seen that one (i might just not pay enough attention :D)

If I'm planning to spend the evening alone ... then Garlic Parm, otherwise my favorite is Lemon Pepper with Honey Mustard.

garlic parm is by far my favorite combo. Next is definitely habanero of any variety. DRY ranch wings are fanastic too.

I like honey BBQ, the sweeter the better!

Don't know if anyone here has tried Korean Bon chon wings but Soy Garlic is amazing.

not the preparation in which i've had it. it's just literally sauced in salt and vinegar but the wings still maintain crispiness!

we have a place in SW Seattle called Bok A Bok, a Korean chicken joint. i dont' remember all of the sauces they use on their wings, but it's all good! :gj: i don't remember the name, but there was another Korean bar in Oakland when i lived in the East Bay that had liquid/sauce flavor injected fried chicken wings. all the Asian flavors quite are tasty!

First of all, has anybody noticed the Patriots are in the Super Bowl again this year??? Hahahaha, had to get that in there!!!! GO PATS!!!!

Anyway, for me, the seasoning or sauce will depend a little on how the wings are cooked. But generally my favorites are:
- good ol' fashioned salt and pepper
- traditional buffalo. I like heat, but nothing too crazy.
- terriyaki
- and I also make some pretty great sauces using cherry coke or Dr pepper.

MMMmmmm I LOVE to eat wings !!!

They can be breaded/fried or grilled

BUT

They have to be hot, hot, HOT !!!!! SPIIIIIICCCCEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYY !!!

And they cannot ever ever ever be wet. Bleh, I hate wet wings dripping sauce. Soggy mess!

My wings have to be WELL done, almost overdone.

Nothing worse then biting into one and its as squshy and fatty inside :puke2:

So yeah, WELL done, crispy, and HOT !!!

It used to be Buffalo chicken - medium to hot. However, since my kidney transplant, I get really sick when I eat spicy food. Not sure if it's the logistics inside, or the medicine. Either way, BBQ for me all the way!

It may be getting older too! 38 in March.

There is a place in O’Fallon Illinois called the Hop House. If you ever get a chance I implore you to try their wings. Ask for all 4 sauces on the side. I love wings from a few places but their wings are something special. They have this blueberry hot sauce... dear lord.

Anyone in the Chicagoland area knows what I'm talking about but I REALLY enjoy the Jewel honey wings you get from their deli. AMAZING - and I live in Rochester, NY next to the wing capitol of the country (Buffalo, NY).

I heard his diet is actually geared towards growing a 6th finger on his left hand, so he can wear ALL 6 RINGS on one hand!!!

Hahaha, but honestly, his diet is ridiculous. And being a cook for a living, I would rather use his $200 cookbook as kindling than to read the recipes.
