Mine have made it almost that far back but not laying flat...id say she is using her muscles and positions the best way for her, all mine have their own technics. Some stand up so high they have lost balace and fallen over backwards as they are getting the last bit of spaghetti down hahaha

Never fallen backwards like that. lol One of mine does get very weird after eating though. She rubs her face on the floor and sides of the enclosure. She also tries to wedge her face in the corners. I was very troubling in the beginning but I'm used to it now so don't think twice.

I have one that stands up until he hits the roof then flattens himself along the top to swallow and one that just goes in and eats sidewards. I used to have a boa that even lifted up then faced slightly down to swallow. They just like to eat in weird ways

My little girl trips out thinking she's choking because our other bp Medusa doesn't do it,Lucy is deff a weird one..could it be because she has a slight wobble and maybe its easiest for her that way?

I haven't had that yet but mine seems to like her food better if she washes it in her water bowl, I dunno why but she absolutely loves dunking them in water almost like some people dunking like a cookie in coffee.

My mice usually get wet while im thawing them,as long as their warm they dont mind it a bit..Lucy has a little bit of the wobble so i was wondering if thats why she goes completely upside down sometimes..

That's a hilarious photo! :P It look likes she's dying of gluttony. :)

I've never had one fall backwards like that LOL! That's hilarious

Also, that's an awesome enclosure! Is that ficus leaved one real, or is it also fake?

Mine like to go completely upright, or as close as they can get. Sometimes they end up looking like the leaning tower of pisa. None have ever doubled over like yours though.

One of mine did that tonight. I'm pretty sure it was by accident. He struck the rat right above his water bowl and landed in the bowl. He eventually pulled it out and finished it off. I'm pretty sure his head was underwater for a couple minutes though. I was cracking up. lol

both of our new, young BP's have done this in the last week. we all kind of stared and wondered if there was something wrong but each went right back to regular behavior after getting their meal all the way down.

I'm fairly sure mine does it on purpose, she has done this about 40-45% of the time. the worst part was one time she decided to blow bubbles as well.
