    I Am Officially Old
Turned 40 today. I was never 39. I was always "almost 40." Now I am 40. Just another number to me but others want to make a big deal about it. I don't mind though.

I think you're only as old as you feel. I'm 33 but still feel 23 and probably still act 13 at times :)

    its a number, I'm 29 but I've been almost 30 since like 26 lol.

P.S. I need you super pastel since its my favorite Inu Yasha character, the ONLY anime I've ever watched and genuinely thought was ok lol.

Happy Birthday Chris! :fest: Welcome to middle age.

If you're old then they will be shutting the lid on me any day now.

    Happy Birthday Mason! :fest::groinkick

A guy I used to work with was a real rooster, always charming the ladies and constantly reliving his glory days as a big College football star.
He got put in his place and started feeling old when two episodes happened.
The first, he was hitting on a gal on an airplane and she mentioned that her Dad was his age.
Then anothertime he got into an altercation in a parking lot with a guy and the other guy said "shut up OLD Man".
I think Donny is still depressed, and moreso since that was 20 years ago. :D

I'm 53, and if that's over the hill, so be it! Lol
I have a great teaching career, can finally indulge my passion for snakes, and have less stress than I did 25 years ago. I really like the view from the downside of the hill.

I joined the same club a few months ago. It is what you make it... and it's better than the alternative....
    Happy Birthday.

    I Am Officially Old
Bet I'm one of the oldest around these parts at 59 in a few weeks .

Still lift weights every day , jog a few times a week , just back from a 5 mile jog actually . I ran a half marathon ( 13 miles ) on New Year's Day just to test myself . I'm fitter and stronger than I've ever been .
Still feel like a teenager which is kinda odd given that I'm nearly 60 but maybe that's just a bloke thing !?!

Anyways if anyone wants to completely change the life / lifestyle for the better just look up the 16/8 fasting regime . I've been doing the 20/4 version since August , lost 28 lbs in about 20 weeks and I eat a lot but eat well ..... the secret is to cut out the stodgy bread stuff but to eat your whole days food in a small window of time . I eat over 2000 calories each day but between 5pm and 9pm ( a four hour window ) .

    Continued ....

Crazily by cutting out your breakfast your energy levels increase throughout the morning then if you move up a level and get used to not having lunch/ dinner as well - your energy levels actually increase throughout the day , you don't have mood swings , you get more optimistic , sleep better at night . etcetec .... and lose weight .

You're basically keeping your insulin levels stable .
