So Tractor Supply is an actual store?!
i was running errands this weekend, when i spot a store called Tractor Supply Co from the freeway. hmmm ok lol. let's check it out.

since joining this forum, i've heard "Tractor Supply" referenced a few times in various threads about where to pick up ball python/herp supplies esp. bedding. Lol I always thought "Tractor Supply" was a generic reference to a tractor and farm supply store like Big John’s Farm Supply and Stuff. but it is it’s own brand of stores! It’s real!

Nice price for a big bag of aspen bedding. i asked about Cypress Mulch and they said they carry it in warmer weathers – Spring through Summer. i'll pop by to check that out later in the year.

Anyway it’s a neat store. a mix of farm and feed supply and hardware, construction and outdoors stuff. :gj:

yeah it's an actual store - surprised you're just now shopping there. In our locale a 40lb bag of pine pellets at that store costs $4.99 which IMO is hands-down the best rodent bedding available. A bag that size goes a long, long way. Probably good for Angolan Pythons too, anytime a dry/absorbent substrate is needed for use in a low humidity enclosure.

Hahaha are you from the city? Us country-folk love our TS stores!

If you enjoyed Tractor Supply, here's another place to look up in your travels: Rural King.

I was SO excited when we got a Tractor Supply in our city :) LOOOOVE It !!!

But then, I've always preferred Lowes, Home Depot etc to "the mall" and such ;)

Plus..I have a horse. And dogs. A cat.

However, I have yet to buy stuff for my snakes at TS ;)

I usually spend a minimum of 30 minutes each time I visit there. They carry hardware and tools as well which I'm ALWAYS in need of.

It's the only place I know of where you can get a 300 gallon Rubbermaid water trough for your outdoor fish. :)

I love Tractor Supply Co. The closest one is 35 minutes away from us but I still drive out a couple times a year.

Lol! Tractor Supply is the best! Now that I'm breeding rodents I'm in there all the time for bedding and feed. It's also the only place in my area that sells my cat food. In the south we love our Tractor Supply for sure .

LOL yea it's real. We have one here but I don't think I've ever been to it. I may check it out to see what other bedding options I can use.

One thing to say, when you look at getting cypress mulch, make sure it's 100% cypress mulch and not just a mixture.

Be sure you have a least 30 min spare time, an hour is better. Have plenty of money too!

We just got one of those in the town I just moved from, but I only live 15 to 20 minutes away from it still so I can still easily check it out.
