Nice! What was the pairing?
Re: First breeding project...coming along
Keep up the good work (and don't stop pairing now)!

She looks to me like she's in the developing/building phase. I like to get one good lock per month during that phase until I see a nice, big ovulation from my girls. Ovys are quite obvious, looking very much so like they swallowed a football. She's not quite there yet, but could certainly be getting close.
Along those lines, have you see Mark Mandic's Breeding Pictorial? It's a very useful guide when it comes to knowing what physical signs to look for along the way: http://ballpython.ca/breeding/.

She first paired with the Lemonblast in August, but it was only once and we stopped because we had the Crystal guy coming. She locked with him on 11/5 and again earlier this month (I forgot to record the date on that one). I guess she's due for another visit right about now.
Building can take awhile, yes. The late stages are when it's most important to get those pairings in so she doesn't go backwards and reabsorb on you. Here's to hoping that the Crystal stud does the deed for ya. :gj:

Thanks! Fingers are crossed for some little Crystal Lessers or BELs.
She's started her shed cycle. Not sure if that means we missed her ovulation or what.
