anyone into 4x4 quads?

We are getting one!
It's a brand new '05 Polaris Sportsman 400.
This is extra cool becuz every time my boyfriend and I splurge on something, it's always used (even our truck.) But this is not! Here's what it looks like (ours may have silver rims instead of black.)

We should be getting it today; a friend of ours can pick it up for us since we dont have a trailer yet.

they're fun. i love doin some 4-wheelin when i get a chance..but things have been crazy so i havn't done it in years. have fun!!

Im more into dirt bikes. We get them dirt cheap off ebay then get them barly running and then run them to the ground fix them till there barly working again and repeat. It really more fun than having just one brand new one there is always something to do to them or a new one to ride.

Well by God! As a matter of fact, I love it. I have an 04 1/2 600 twin Polaris myself. Of course I have bolted on an extra or two (27" mudlites, wheel spacers, K&N filter, nothing major) In fact here is a site to check out , www.floridaatv.com that is a forum much like this one that a friend of mine started. He owns an internet service and started the thing. Check out the gallery section. We go on some very cool rides. Of course my name on there is pumba same as here. And I suppose there is somewhere around 400 members now. It has been a while since I logged on and posted anything. Feel free to join up, it is free, I realize you are way up in NY but believe it or not, you won't be the first member to log on and join from up there.

Well, I was going to post a pic of my beast, but I guess not. I couldn't figure out how on this thing. Any suggestions. I have the file saved as a Jpeg in my pictures on this computer but I couldn't figure it out. :confused:

Click on gallery on you top left menu. Then somewhere in horizontal bar, look for upload pics. Everything from there is self explanatory :)

Much thanks so here we go! well then maby not. I am compleetly computer illiterate. You can see it in the members gallery. If anyone in here knows how to get it from there to here I will not mind.

Took care of your duplicate post.

If you click through to the full sized picture in the gallery then look down below it you will see a little text box with [ img ] [ /img ] tags (no spaces). Just copy that whole bit and paste into the post (so long as the picture isnt insanely big).

Yeppers that is her. My baby Skidder. I do recomend one for anyone who may need some stress management. A 4x4 quad and a mud hole is the only two ingredients you need to become stress free for the rest of the day.. Thanks fot the help.

COOL ride Pumba. Looks like mine (but yours is bigger, right?) Mine's the little man on the totem pole for the Sportsman, but it ain't too shabby either. We had to get something that's 4x4 cuz you know how mud is...
I have been busying myself takin it up and down this hilly road on the farm, and it is funner than fun. I would rather go up/down little hills int he woods than go for flat-out speed like some people do. And mud is a requirement!
Now my goal in life, is getting my mom out to our house to ride it! She is NOT the type to ride quads or anything besides a car, so this should be fun.
