So jealous! As some one from New England who now lives in Florida, I miss the snow. It feels especially weird not to have it around the holidays....
    Enjoy it! [emoji4]

Ax01 hit the nail on the head...I'm from the northeast US. But coincidentally, I did live in England for a while (London).

Definitely yay for me! I love this time of year minus the threat of ice storms that can knock the power out for an extended period of time.

Snowed in Chicago, Sunday I believe. Yeah definitely not Christmas without snow. And yeah, I definitely thought it was a white snake thread. Lol

    What's snow?

I rode my motorcycle to the gym yesterday and my thermometer read 85F. Doesn't feel like Christmas.

I see the benefits of living in each area of the country, but there's something about snow around holidays and in the woods that makes it ultra special to me....

....this is from about a month ago on my property in central Wisconsin, but it will sure be beautiful with a fresh snowfall. Most of the trees you see are sugar maples so I'm going to have quite a bit of sap this year :D

Northern British Columbia. It's snowed a couple times already but hasn't stayed. We get tonnes of snow every year. Shovelling is a pain in the rear, (thank goodness for kids who'll do it for ten bucks) but we have some excellent ski slopes.

I'm in New England (MA) and would be content to never see snow again. If not for my family being here I would be living where it never snows. That being said, that first snowfall can be pretty... for a minute, hahhahaha

I'm with you JodanOrNoDan. If my family wasn't here I'd be headed your way. If the girl kicks me out can the snakes, skink and I come live with you? I think I would fit in well in the glades and you and I could talk snakes and rock & roll all day!

I lived in Syracuse, NY with an average seasonal snowfall of around 10 feet or more for 4 years. If I never see snow again it wouldn't be missed...

Being from New England it still amazes me that some people have never seen snow or never seen the ocean. Not sure if you're in that category or not, but it fascinates me. I guess I'm lucky to have lived where I see both every year, but I could surely do without the snow. The ocean on the other hand, I would miss greatly, so I'll stick to the coast :D

LOL. Sure. You just gotta help me shovel snake crap. At this rate I'm going to have to open a fertilizer business.

Growing up, mom would take me to Reno once a year to go skiiing (the ski was for me, she just wanted to gamble lol) but I've haven't lived in the snow since I was too little to remember. I will miss being able to see the ocean if I want to but I haven't even done that in years so no big loss.

It is surprising any time I'm talking to someone here in CA and they mention never having seen the snow. :O

As someone from Green Bay, Emily, I need a winter in Florida to like snow again. We have already had three days of snow, and today it is 19°. It is going to be a long winter. Sigh.

Actually, I would take a Seattle winter right now as a compromise.

Here in East Texas it may snow lightly once or twice every year or two. It’s a nice change of pace and it’s usually gone in a day or two. I would not want to deal with it for a full season.

    Heck I haven’t worn a winter coat in 30 years. I only wear a jacket 10-20 days a year.

Hope you are enjoying Montana Ax.

I'm in the mid-south & this arctic blast swooped all the way here...gave us about 1.5-2" of snow, some of which is still around on the ground with many white
roof-tops...it's too dang cold to melt! We hit a record 13* the night before last which was a record low since they had 17* in 1921; last night was a balmy 14*.

I do enjoy "a few snow storms" each winter (as I had previously for many years in the high desert), but y'all in the north can keep the rest, bitter cold included. At least today we're making it above freezing...
