G Stripe + Pied? Other G- Stripe morphs?
Hello,
So i've had my G-Stripe male (Chef Roger) for a few months now and I've been starting to think about the future. It's a baby and my next ball will be a baby to so I'm way off from breeding but I'm struggling to come up with what I want to produce. I love pieds and plan to get one either way but I was wondering if Pied x GStripe would look good (both are recessive so should be possible), anyone has produced one?
Otherwise what are some cool looking morphs that can be produced from G-Stripe?
Pictures would be greatly appreciated if you have them (y)

I found one from a earlier post on here. Honestly quite disappointing looking. http://www.ballpython.com/moreinfo.p...piedstrp01m4-4
Honestly, I'm a fan of hornets for the genetic stripes, killer hornets are awesome too. Fred Kick is your man for genetic stripe morphs lol. Genetic stripes are beautiful, but so far haven't really seen any Holy Grail morphs for it. Here's a list of a lot for sale though. http://www.morphmarket.com/c/reptile...netic%20stripe

Little G Stripe thoughts
I have a terrific little G-stripe boy who I simply adore and would like to breed one day.
I got him from Wreck Room Snakes who makes wonderful BPs. One of the other G-stripes they had were ones that were REALLY bright with pastels and/fires which I wanted to get, but they simply did not have the continuous dorsal stripe that I was looking for.
Your little guy looks like my boy, and has that continuous stripe!

Mine is from Family Reptiles in FL. They were within driving distance and since this was my first snake seeing it before buying was important to me. After my experience with them I wouldn't get a ball anywhere else unless they didn't have the morph I was looking for. They had a pastel G-stripe that had a nice caramel color but like you I disliked the non continuous stripe. He turned out alright, he is really chill and friendly, never has even as much as hissed at me, loves to explore and is a voracious eater. I was concerned because they fed him live and I wanted to do frozen but after a week of not eating he started taking them and now he eats a ~20g mouse every 5 days with no problem. next thing I plan to do is switch to rats, I've read here they are better... plus he's outgrowing the mice.

Re: G Stripe + Pied? Other G- Stripe morphs?
Deb Stewart actually recommended me to Wreck Room, and I highly recommend them. Mary Hubbard answers all my questions pretty fast - even after I receive the G-stripe. If you look at their website, they have some really quality morphs. They do this on a small scale, which I always admire because I found that snakes from small scale breeders tend to be more personable (adjusts quickly, friendly, and/or good eaters), and of better quality overall. Just by talking to them, you can tell that they know each of their snakes more than just being a product.
I'm actually about to purchase another snake from them!

i agree w/ Naraku that G-Stripes goes great w/ Spiders (to make morphs such as Hornets). they also look fantastic with Banana/Coral Glow paint jobs.
here is Cat, my G-Stripe combo girl. she was produced by the (in)famous Ben Siegel.

Re: G Stripe + Pied? Other G- Stripe morphs?
Based of the animal I saw in the one jkobolkya? video if I was working with g stripes and I wanted to go with a double recessive pattern morph I'd plug it into clown. Those babies look sweet!
Other then that really any colour morphs. I personally prefer the yellow belly complex stuff but I'm sure you could do like axanthic gstripes, desert ghost g stripes or even keep it simpler with like orange dream/enchi.

funny enough, i just met a breeder this weekend who produced some G-Stripe Pieds over the summer at a small local show. here's his FB page a few pix: https://www.facebook.com/Murphyfamil...25128441054705
here's a pix of a G-Stripe het Pied he had for sale:

his G-Stripe Pieds are both holdbacks. i think they look neat. they look kinda like White Gold Pieds (Serpents Den line of Mojave Pieds). :gj:

Nice. I wish I had been there. Would've bought that little guy up.

lol not sure why i forgot to mention this, but my Pied girl Nessarose could probably pass for a visual G-Stripe Pied. medium white and long dorsal.
here she is as a baby:
