    2016 Holdbacks
With the incubator empty, the 2016 season has come to a close. I couldn't be more excited about this year's holdbacks and what 2017 will bring. Who else did well for themselves this year?

Super Orange Dream Spider Yellow Belly. I saw my first one a few years ago that Ozzy produced and knew this was one of the directions I had to take my Orange Dream project.

They are quite the pair and I'm lucky to have them. Leopard is a remarkable gene - it goes well with so many things. As Josh said, though, Clown is recessive.

The genetics themselves work exactly the same actually. The only thing to adjust for is that you account for the hidden middle step which isn't hidden in co-doms. If you want to get technical, all co-dom genes are just the het form of their genes anyway - just you can see them and you can't see the het form of the recessive genes. You just shoot for the "super form" only in recessive genes. :gj:

You're welcome. You can count on me sharing more of him as he grows up. Super Orange Dream Spider Yellow Belly. I thought the same thing a couple of years ago when I saw the first one Ozzy produced and put a plan in place. I got lucky and hit it on my first try. :)

Would you believe that I haven't used mine in well over a year? These were all taken with my cell phone. Good lighting and knowing how to use it is key - tent optional IMO. That being said, you'd better not be holding out on us for that reason. Share those little ones!!!

What works for me are 3x 105W CFL daylight (5500K) bulbs with stands and reflectors - one for each side and one over the top. The white surface they're sitting on is usually nothing more than a liner which I use as the substrate in my tubs (Repti-Zorb liners).
