Put Money Down, Let's Try This Again
I had been eyeing around for a Ghost boa for quite some time before others had told me, breeding season is just starting up. I held back and waited but being the looky-loo I am.. went on the marketplace and looked around. This male Pastel Dream Monstertail Het Albino (Kahl) boa came into my sight and I just fell in love with his browns and reds. Don't get me wrong, wild-types are beautiful in their own way, but I wanted something that popped, while being in budget. Horses are always eating up my money, especially my accident prone Mare.
Anywho, finally purchased him today and if weather permits, he'll be shipped Monday, arrive Tuesday. He's about 500g as of now and is slamming f/t rat fuzzies, about to go up in size. The photos I'm going to show you are from the breeder and one is slightly enhanced. Funny as it is, I'm stuck on naming him "Snakerdoodle", although I tried sticking with my Pixar/Disney/Dreamwork theme and stay away from "S" names.

This next one is the enhanced one, making him lighter in appearance.

Thanks everyone. I can't wait till I have my own "photo session" all set up now that I have a nice camera. Genes certainly do help, especially since I love planning things. May just have to get him a lady friend. His tail certainly astounded me, I love that the reds flow into each other yet it still looks clean around them. Definitely beautiful indeed.

Due to weather conditions, the best bet is him arriving next week. If they weather is still gross by then, I have agreed to wait till the Holidays end. The breeder will be updating me with pictures and such. The breeder is located in Colorado, and I, Washington, so not the warmest of places. I trust this breeder enough to do so and it would be more ideal to have him arrive in good condition than all cold. Just means I have to wait longer but while I do so, I can deck out his tub(Sid will also receive some upgrades).

I'm in Washington State too and it's downright cold. I mean I might be getting a cold myself as even my house being set at 75ish is still cold to me lol but its cold. Nice looking little snake and good luck on the shipping. Gonna be cutting it pretty darn close going at the end of December. Make sure he packs that little guy with a nice warm heat pack :)

I agree with you! Where did the sun go? I certainly wasn't complaining then, lol. He'll certainly need one with all the brisk air coming this way.

Got an "update" photo just a few mins ago :) Really lovin' everything about this dude.

Got another update. Looks like I might possibly get him on the 1st of Jan, hoping for warmer weather. The breeder has been great to work with.

Monster Tails are gorgeous... they typically keep those nice long red tails all the way through adulthood which looks spectacular on a 6-8 foot snake :D

Of course snow has just been rolling in but breeder said Monday is a go if the weather doesn't hit hard.
I do have a question for y'all. My Ball Python just got upgraded into a 32QT tub so I used the Boa's UTH so I could buy a bigger one for the Boa. I don't have the UTH yet and it would arrive next Saturday. If I do get my Boa in, I can keep the room up to 83F no problem. Would this be okay for about 6-7 days?

Patrick from Kruzzer's Reptiles. He's been awesome to work/communicate with. I will also have another update picture once I get on my laptop some time today.

I've really been scouting out the Monster Tails he still has on MorphMarket. I have my eye on one as well... just not sure I can pull the trigger yet!

I've been holding out, just so I could get my new phone and take pictures that weren't absolute poop :P
I'm not sure where I got the "500g" from, might have pulled it out of my lost marbles drawer. He's roughly 200g.
I've had him for about 3 1/2 weeks. Both meals went swimmingly! He's currently dull and in blue and I can't wait to see what he looks like post shed, as his colors are already stunning. Excuse the random dog hair. Without further ado:
