Shallan- My newest addition
:3 So this last weekend I purchased a mojave female~ Actually there ended up being some confusion, I was given the male, and they got in contact with me and we traded snakes so now I do have the female in my possession as of today and all is well (I really want/need to learn how to sex my snakes myself... but I'm kinda scared XP)
So now that all is settled and good, I would like to show off my newest sweetheart: Shallan

I'm letting her settle in for a little bit and get her eating for me and then I'll take some better pics than these quick snaps, but she's sooo pretty, and seems very curious. She'll be fun :3 She is officially a Mojave 66% poss het vpi axanthic, though I was also told the pairing that produced her had capability to produce both mojaves and mojave fires and those two are very hard to tell apart so she might have some fire? The man who sold her to me couldn't tell for sure so sold her as just a mojave, and I can't see any way to tell the difference online. So meh, she might be that, but I bought her for a mojave and she is a beautiful mojave so I'm happy :3

Re: Shallan- My newest addition
Definitely a pretty snake. My Mojave is quite possibly my favorite. Her personality is just, different. :)

Ah, yours is so pretty too, Mangiapane! I haven't had mine long enough to know how 'different' her personality is. She seems to be braver, or at least more curious, than my normal boy, Nagisa., but we'll see how she settles in~
And thanks, Alexis! :3

Well, since she's been eating regularly, and as of the last time she actually ate in my presence (before that she had me drop the mouse (ft) in with her and leave her be. Never showed me any food response but it would be gone after a while when I checked on her, but this last time she snagged it eagerly as soon as I brought it to the keep) and generally doing well, I decided to bring Shallan out for a few updated photographs. Of course, the only camera I have is my lousy phone (Mom was gonna give me hers after Thanksgiving but forgot? Ah well, Christmas is coming up soon I guess) so I hope the quality and the lighting of my room (its well after dark, no natural lighting if I had a good place for it. Not like the cloudy weather here would've provided any anyways.) shows her prettiness well enough.

She's gained nearly 50 grams since I got her- the first time I weighed her she was 121g, and when I weighed her before her last feeding a couple days ago, she had reached 170g.

Mojave are beautiful BPs. I love their colors.

Re: Shallan- My newest addition
Beautiful snake, I love the lesser morph and it was explained to me the lesser is just a "clean" Mojave. I think I might look into getting a Mojave.
Thanks for sharing.

FINALLY!!
Shallan is in blue. It's her first shed since I got her, her belly has been pre-shed pink for long enough I was starting to worry, but I checked in on her today and her eyes (and dark markings) were blue as can be. So since she didn't seem grumpy at all I took her out for a swift pic to document the occasion before leaving her to shed in peace. Can't wait to see her all bright afterward!

Best thing is, within the last few days, Rifter, the corn, gave me a beautiful one peice shed, and I caught my gecko Mana hanging out with her nose peeled for the start of a shed, too.

I never posted the pics I took after she shed. Must share the pretty pics, though, 'cause I'm always still impressed how pretty she is~

And then I snapped a few more tonight, 'cause she's starting to get big. Last weigh in was 333g. Last sunday was an expo and I managed to get some rat pups for her, finally~
