Holidays

The holidays are definitely coming up. And they more they are, the more sad I get.

Basically, this will be my first holiday spent without someone to cuddle up with.

So, on that note. I am in need of a heavy distraction. Any ideas? (Project ideas. Things to keep me busy)

Holidays are only about stores making money now anyway......

Go to a craft store or a hobby shop and pick up some kind of kit. Some really fiddly model with a ton of parts, or a craft that's time-consuming. I recommend needlework-- embroidery or needlepoint or cross-stitch which takes a lot of concentration especially when you're just learning how to do it, or needlefelting which takes several hours per project at least.

Bake holiday cookies to give as gifts. If you make a lot and a variety it will occupy a couple days. Maybe teach yourself something new. Knitting or crochet, perhaps? You could keep the things you knit for yourself or gift them!

I don't remember seeing any posts mentioning her boyfriend, even if she does doesn't mean they're able to spend the holidays together, ya never know.

Just another day with extra aggravating people and aggravating music.....it's mainly a commercial event, people have lost the real sens of what that time of the year is supposed to be a long time ago.

Never cared about the holidays usually I look forward for all that stuff to be over with.....is it January yet :D

Start a World of Warcraft account. :)

go to work and make some extra money, give someone with a family the day off. I've done it the last few years and it really makes the season fly by and I get some holiday double pay.

I haven't had a day off to give. :(

But usually I work the Holidays themselves anyways. It's when I got home... and I don't know if this company I'm currently working for offers double time and a half like everyone else I've worked for.
