    Chainmail hood 8mm, 100% handmade

Greetings to all. Recently finished their latest creation - the chainmail hood (for real fights, this is not simulated) in short - weave the European 4 in 1, more than 5,500 of the rings, ring diameter - 8 mm. If someone is engaged in the weaving of chainmail, give an objective assessment of the work. More pictures here:

It's nice and an interesting first post however given the the multitude of pop-ups some hard to close, coming for your picture host I have deleted those links, I would suggest you to either use the gallery here on BP.net or use photobucket. Thank you

I will give you the benefit of the doubt one last time I have merged both threads and deleted the links you posted once again (SEE POST ABOVE), should you chose to use that host and post those links again I will have to consider this as a spam.

These gloves are worn on top of gloves, a felt (thickness up to 5 mm) to soften and better distribute impact forces. This full chainmail gloves, main task of which is the ability to take a sword blade and not to remain without fingers. You are right, it is kind of unfortunate I had to remove myself with one hand, soon I'll pour a fresh photo in the gallery.

Heehee, nippy snake gear! I saw something a long time ago about a guy who built a 'bite suit' for sharks out of something similar. It worked for smaller sharks, but larger ones would just crush you in it's jaw even if the teeth didn't make it through the chainmail.

Your work looks good to me.
Huge projects! I've done a few *chain maille* cuff bracelets and such in bronze and sterling. Some of those patterns are very challenging. Did you start with straight wire, or go with rings?

Would love to get back into those projects again (esp. with the lower prices of silver). Just don't have space right now.
